  Most churches seem pretty homogenous. Their members typically come from the same part of town and mesh only because they are all so much alike. But, Mosaic is aptly named because it is one of those special places where people from literally every corner of the globe join together to become one family. If you're racist, you won't be comfortable here. If you're stuck in the idea that only your taste in music, worship style, dress, or whatever else is acceptable, you'll probably want to try somewhere else. But if you believe we are all God's children and that the Bible and Christ are the only guides we need for how to live, this is the place for you.

  Only came here once so far literally just yesterday. Sermon was brought by a young adult—which personally not a very common sight to see in an SDA church service (coming from someone who's lived in 3 different countries and have gone to many various SDA churches). But her message was good. It was catered to more youth & young adult in my opinion, which is not a problem at all. There was a graduation event going on so I'm sure the church program aren't usually like that normally. My husband & l left a little earlier just before the service was fully done because the people sitting in front of us were being really loud and were just chatting throughout the service including the sermon. So we left just before the speaker was fully done with her sermon. Given we did sit at the very back row just to see the whole overall atmosphere, and if we didn't like it we could always leave without getting attention and being distracting. Hence, that's exactly what happened. My husband & I go through various churches, both SDA and nondenominational. I grew up SDA my whole life so coming here for our very first time, having that first impression meant quite a lot. I considered coming to this church on a regular basis if I had a good experience. We usually go to an SDA church in Dallas but we recently relocated now in McKinney, so this church would be ideal in terms of location. 3 people in front of us was just chatting away literally throughout the service. The lady was talking to her friend and the guy was on his phone THE WHOLE TIME. We were very distracted by them, and during special prayer time (kneeling), the guy still was just sat on his chair and was scrolling through his phone. Trying to listen to the sermon but it was really hard to focus due to the people in front of us talking. Not only was it rude behavior for other people, but I think you're also not supposed to be acting like that in the house of the Lord lol. Anyways. That's it. So we just left right before the sermon was over. Pastor Frank was right outside the door when he saw us leaving. He asked the typical questions, like if we're visitors, if we'd be interested in coming again and finding a home church, told us about young adult program, etc etc. I'd still be interested in coming again. But it's weird to think that maybe I "ratted out" those people and would rather not meet them again LOL

  A guest speaker was there on 10/12/24 and he was GREAT! Spoke the Word plainly!! The church is not very big BUT it was clean and orderly. Nice and friendly welcoming people!! Had a potluck that I didn't go to unfortunately

  The kids Sabbath was ok. But I walk in with my daughter, no one said hello to me. I was the one who had to say hello. There was a parent giving my two year old dirty looks for her first or second time attending Sabbath School in her 2 years of life. I see the nice reviews, as a father who is coming by myself to this church with my daughter, I was more of a stranger than a guest looking for a new church home

  I have been an active member of Mosaic ever since 2006. It has been such a blessing in my life. We have had different pastors thru the years, but the core church fellowship has been welcoming to all. One thing visitors say is that we are a warm church. I remember the first time I visited the church. I looked around and thought-this looks like the United Nations. I am happy to be part of such a diverse community of believers.

  Great church. People are friendly and kind. Greeters make you feel welcome and they do their best to follow up. Great Children's Sabbath School classes

  Only interacted with them via their website, but they prayed for me and responded back. I don't even agree with their doctrine, but I have to give 5 stars for anyone that upholds what they believe at the level these people do. Thanks for praying for me too!
