Wonderful sermons and very friendly congregation. Typical Lutheran liturgy and hymns with contemporary music/songs played during communion. For those that did not grow up in a traditional church, more contemporary music would make a positive difference. They have a small children's area with toys off to the side so you can still be a part of the service. However, everyone seems tolerant of the usual "children noises". They also offer busy bags for children to explore and play with while sitting in the pews. This is a great place to worship.

My wife and I stumbled upon Emanuel's 10 years ago, and find our family of five now firmly rooted as a part of the congregation. Nothing is perfect here, which I like. However, the people have always been amazing to us.
