My first visit was wonderful. The Christmas play was both endearing and thoughtful, the sermon afterwards was spot-on, and there was a nice dinner afterwards. The pastor and myself talked during the meal, and I'm excited to return! The congregation is a wonderful group of people that Love God, though not large in numbers, they are great in spirit. There's room for you! Find your place here!

I cannot express in words how much this church’s means to me and how much it grew me spiritually, but i will do the best I can. So, I graduated from a private christian school and so I was really looking for a church that could fill me up and CHALLENGE me spiritually when I came to college. Once I found Elk Ridge, I knew it was exactly what I needed. This is not a church that does topical sermons over happiness and prosperity while telling you what to think, but goes through the word and tell you why the Bible says what it does and the context behind it. I knew once Pastor Daniel pulled out the context and the Greek words to help understand what a specific passage meant, that this was a sermon that i was about to LEARN it. Besides it being a great way to grow spiritually, the building is FILLED with a group of people that will instantly become your family. There are so many opportunities to fellowship, with food, games, bible studies, AWANAS, youth group, a College ministry, and MULTIPLE mission trip opportunities all around the world.

Elkridge Baptist Church has a great Awana program that includes games, songs, theme nights, and great Bible lessons. The volunteers involved in this program are so helpful, energetic,thoughtful and always have a positive attitude. I am really thankful to be a part of Elkridge Baptist Church.
