Spontaneous visit to see some old friends. As we arrived, the church people in the parking lot and into the church greeted us warmly and were friendly and outgoing. We had some time in the foyer which was open and inviting before finding seats in the sanctuary while the children were checked into the children's ministry. The sanctuary was clean, updated, and well appointed for a first time visitor. There was a good spread of ages waiting on the service from my observation and the service started on time with upbeat worship music and an excellent worship group. It was not to loud and the words for all the songs were projected on the screen in the front. The Pastor came up and the preaching was timely, on point and relevant to the day we are in. His delivery was engaging, fun and included personal examples of points he made. The service concluded with communion and then we mingled in the Foyer with many of the church family. Overall an excellent example of how the church is not only meeting needs but exceeding expectations. Would definitely recommend for someone needing spiritual help and those just looking for a place to fit in.

We started attending Discovery at the beginning of February. The day we walked in, the Church was starting their series on "Surrender." Phenomenal experience from the first day. The Holy Spirit is invited into this church every time we walk in. I'm 43 years old. I've been in and out of churches my entire life and never have I felt the Spirit move in a place like I do at Discovery. The number one message that is constantly repeated in this place is the love of Jesus. I've been to many churches who sometimes get a little sidetracked with their message. The constant here is... Jesus, His love for us, and His desire for us to Love each other. I am stoked to call this place my home!

I love this church! I really like how much they speak about the Holy Spirit and using discernment. The teachings really resonated with my family and I more than any where else. My family and I spent weeks trying different churches. I watched the sermons online for a weeks but kept missing the 10am service. We finally made it on Easter. It was wonderful. The pastor is excellent and reminds me of a theology professor. Everyone is very down to Earth and welcoming. This is the best church around. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes lol

Oh, where to begin with Discovery. We have traveled all the way from Austin to San Marcos to New Braunfels to find a good church before landing in Cibolo. We drive 45 minutes for this church! Cheri with worship brings me to tears nearly every week and has me raising my hands with praise, due to her devotion to the Lord. Anytime those men are on the stage, you know that the Holy Spirit is going to fill the room and hit you hard. The messages are powerful and gospel oriented. The people are loving and always wanting to make our church a safe place for all. I truly love this church and this will be our home for a long time. Thank you to everyone who works hard to make this church full of love. Praise the Lord!

From the moment we first walked into Discovery, we knew this was our new home. The pastors make all decisions with wisdom and discernment, and truly care for each and every person that walks into Discovery. The worship is amazing and I always feel filled, freed and energized. The children’s services are spectacular, I have never felt so comfortable leaving my son in someone else’s hands as I do here. I feel that the staff loves my family as much as I do and will do everything they can to make sure we are equipped to be the children of God we strive to be.

Discovery Church has been a huge blessing for our family! Worship is Jesus centered and the sermons are Holy Spirit led making for a transformative experience that leaves us with something to chew on throughout the week. A great place to fellowship with other loving members of the Family of God.

Meet some uplifting and welcoming people this weekend. The atmosphere and energy was not superficial but impressionable. A visitor today potentially family tomorrow. Great message! Stop celebrating Christmas in December. When you know you know. Celebrate Jesus year round.

We attended this church for about 2 years before finally leaving. My husband and I really wanted to like it because it was so close to our house, and the music is AWESOME! However, it is very exclusive. The leadership is reluctant to let people who are not their buddies and/or relatives volunteer or participate. I often felt the Holy Spirit was calling me to give/volunteer in areas where the church had requested help only to be glossed over, avoided and never called upon. I volunteered for a few events and felt like a bystander or that the leadership for those events dumped on the people that were not in the "in" crowd so they could chat in the corner drinking their coffee. If you can sing you may have an automatic "in". I don't think the Pastor or his wife even knew my name the entire time we attended their church, nor did they so much as make an effort, and it's not a big church and we attended every Sunday! There are a few other churches in the area that are more welcoming and will allow you to bring your talents to the Lord, and actually welcome it! I would try them first- those churches are growing for a reason...

I’ve tried to contact the Mother’s Day out program twice and they kept telling me the director will call back. We’ve been waiting for a call back for almost a month now.
