I am proud to say that I have been a member of DC3 for 12 years and this is my spiritual home. From the moment that I walked in I was greeted warmly. Pastor King sermons are engaging and right on point. I actively serve with the food distribution and choir.i am also proud to be part of the Man Up group with my brothers in Christ. We serve our community with all of hearts! Thank you DC3 for always being there for me and my family!!

I initially reached out to this church for assistance because their outreach claimed to serve the Dallas/Fort Worth area. I live in Fort Worth, but I was denied the same day I submitted my information with no explanation given at the time. After leaving a review, I finally received a long response that centered more on defending their process than actually addressing the lack of communication or compassion. I was told they prioritize church members first, then may help others if the budget allows, and even read a comparison to helping Africa. That tone felt dismissive and not reflective of what I expected from a faith-based organization that claims to serve the community. This review isn’t about being denied. I understand churches and nonprofits have limited resources. But it’s about how the situation was handled: no transparency upfront, no empathy in the process, and a response that only came after public criticism. A good reputation isn’t just built on what you say it's about how you treat people when they come to you in need. I hope this feedback encourages more honesty and kindness in future interactions with others seeking help.
