I look forward to coming every Sunday when able. Always greeted with kindness and feel welcome. Most of all, hearing the sermons and the wonderful band play the most amazing songs. The involvement of the youth is awesome to see and hear about.

This is the first church I ever felt comfortable with. Most other churches I have attended made me feel judged and unworthy. Not DCCC! The minute I walked in I felt loved and accepted for me! Shocker I am not "Cowboy" by any stretch of the imagination! I do not own a horse or a pair of cowboy boots. So for some of the previous reviews stating its only a bunch of horse owners is crazy. It sounds to me as if someone is bitter about growth around the town and the only target they can find is a church who is building on their own property. If they were so concerned with their "country views" maybe they should have purchased far more land than a house built in a subdivision with cookie cutter homes built on hardly any land or better yet purchased the land themselves to protect that view. It baffles me the sense of entitlement some people have. How someone can feel they have a say what someone else does with their own property. I would love to see if roles were reversed here. This review is not to spread ill will so I will leave it at that, and pray for all those who are filled with such animosity. This review is to spread the love I have for a church who has saved a lost sinner and showed her the way to Christ through ways no other church has. By opening their doors and hearts to those who don't quite fit the suit and tie type church. By truly loving the person for who God created them to be not the false sense of what a "Christian" is supposed to be. I could go on forever on why this place holds a place in my heart but I will leave it with this. Our family loves it here, including my children who cry if they have to miss at all.

I attend men’s Bible study and breakfast here and have for 7 months now. The people are friendly and accepting. They feed ya everytime you show up practically. This church does a lot of outreach.

I live in California and called on behalf of a friend out in Ponder, Texas who's just had surgery and needed help taking care of small children. They knew who she was and said they'd make phone calls and got right on it. My friend was so grateful. I was so impressed. I know that was You, God! If I ever visit Ponder, Texas, I will be sure to visit the Cowboy Church. I'll bet it's a place where I could meet a fine and decent Christian gentleman looking for a wife.

First time today... as soon as I walked in I knew this was my place. Offered a chair as soon as I walked into the packed barn like building. Everyone was very nice. You can feel the warmth here....

Feels a bit strange to write a bad review for a church, sorry god. My first visit out to their, "buck out", was really awkward. No assistance from anyone and no one to ask either. First church that Ive been to that I did not feel welcome. Also, their running of the event was sloppy. Speak up when letting people know who is up and let everyone know who is ON DECK!!! THERE SHOULD BE A PERSON HELPING PEOPLE WHO ARE 1ST TIMERS!!

It breaks my heart to read the reviews about this church. DCCC is by far the greatest church I have ever had the privilege of being a part of. It is filled with amazing people that love the Lord and love doing His work. Jeremy I feel so sorry for you that your judgement has been so clouded by your anger. This church is filled with people from all walks of life and to be honest most don’t even own a horse. As for the new Arena, it is truly a gift from God. The arena is our mission field, our goal is to reach God’s lost people and as a cowboy church are target is the cowboy culture. We invite them to the arena, share the word of God, and then turn them over to God by praying they will find their way into our church. I pray that you will not be persuaded by the words of the ones that feel entitled. But instead come visit DCCC for yourself, and walk in with an open heart willing to meet new people and hear Gods word. We have an amazing Pastor that speaks straight from the bible in a way that all can understand it. Check us out on Facebook and get a glimpse of what we are about. God Bless you all

Very friendly and rustic location. Not too fancy but definitely full of God's love.

The heart and ministry of the people here reflects the what I know to be the heart of Jesus. The men poured out into our troop of boys with no promise of new members, no requirements, just great mentorship.
