The greeters were very hospitable and welcoming. Unfortunately their website wasn't updated therefore I was not aware that the service would not be bilingual or in English. I came unprepared without any headphones for the translation zoom meeting. A member did have a spare one for me to borrow. I felt bad because it may had been her personal headphones. Also unfortunately the zoom meeting had a technical error. One of the attendees had unmuted his phone. Everyone can hear him talking and the sermon echoing in the background. I had tried to get the host's attention but there were no options to chat or send a message. It was very hard to concentrate. I eventually left the zoom meeting. Maybe next time, have second host to manage the zoom meeting for technical errors and place the settings to unmute microphone and video from all attendees by default. I politely sat through the sermon until I had to leave. I had forgotten that traditional church service are usually long. I'm not sure if I will be returning as I was looking for an English/Contemporary style service within an Asian church. Finally, the church is still practicing social distancing and wearing a mask. Please be respectful of both if you visit.

The church services are in Chinese, but there are interpreters for English speakers, who are given audio receivers with earbuds for listening to the interpreter. The congregation sings well, and with enthusiasm. The hymn lyrics are provided in Chinese (and English if you need it). The preaching is boldly Biblical, and it is delivered by the elders, who clearly consider themselves greatly indebted to their late preacher, who sounds like an exceptional man.
