My first time attending this church was with my friend and her 6 month old baby. The baby was not crying or causing a disturbance, he was simply making occasional, age-appropriate babbling noises. Despite this, an usher approached us and asked that he be kept quiet, which was both unrealistic and disappointing. It is unreasonable to expect complete silence from an infant. We were also told that the baby could be taken to the church’s childcare center. While that may work for some families, not all parents are comfortable leaving their infants with others, and many prefer to have their children with them while they listen to the sermon. Parents should not be made to feel unwelcome or pressured to separate from their babies simply because they are behaving like babies. What made the experience even more discouraging was that a significant portion of the sermon seemed focused on asking for money rather than delivering a meaningful spiritual message. The overall atmosphere felt more like a business than a place of worship. Between the lack of understanding shown toward a young child and the heavy emphasis on financial contributions, this was a very disappointing and unwelcoming experience. Sadly, we will not be returning

It was my first time coming here, definitely would not recommend to parents whom have children that are a year and under. We were approached by an usher regarding the noise my one year was making, mind you he was happy giggling not crying. We were told it would be best to watch from the screen since they were recording live. I simply walked out with my children and husband because a church that it worried about views online rather than people coming to listen to the word of God with their children. Is definitely not the place to grow. This is exactly why people do not want to attend churches for the fear of not being accepted.

My family and I love this church. From day one we felt something different, the pastors were so loving and gave us a tour around the church on a Thursday. We went that coming Sunday and just fell in love with everything the sermons are amazing and we have met so many wonderful people that are now are friends. Thank you cross church for making this our forever home

I had been going consistently then one day I decided to not leave my baby in the child area because she was not feeling well, it took a lot of me to go that day and apparently she was making too much noise that cameras were picking up her sound so i was escorted to the lobby. I just went home and never went back. (But i cant imagine if i was someone who’s looking for a last sign of hope then to be escorted out of the service!!)

Cross Church IS home. I came to the RGV in 2019 with my newborn and immediately found a place where i had family that challenged me to grow all the way around, especially my faith. I learned so much about leadership and conducting myself and i always have a place where people will pray with me. Thank you to all my brothers and sisters that do life with me and my family. I encourage anyone who is new to visit and get plugged in. Grow roots by doing life with people who are also part of the Kingdom of God and encourage your growth and personal development. 🙌🏻🙇🏼♀️🙏🏼❤️🔥🕊️
