LOVE this congregation!! I grew up in Church of Christ and have attended several COC's throughout east Texas. Creekside has reinvigorated my thirst for knowledge of GOD. And it didnt take long to get plugged in and active. Creekside preaches and teaches from the BIBLE, not your feelings. We dont have the smoke, lights and a stage concert band performing. What we do have is beautiful melodic harmonies and angelic singing from our hearts. I look forward to raising my children in this congregation and hope to develope life long friends, family and relatyionships in the yaers to come. Proud to be a member of this church family!

Loved this congregation while we were in the area! People are so friendly and loving, at the same time filled with Christ serving attitudes and deeds! It was our special family! May God continue to bless you all with strength and growth!

I want to start by saying during our multiple visits with this congregation we met a lot of friendly and God-serving people. My family and I just relocated to this area. We were looking for a new Church home and Creekside Church of Christ looked like the perfect fit. We visited Sunday morning and was invited to attend the Trunk-or-Treat/Chili Cookout event the following Saturday and the next day we attended class/morning worship. I'm only writing this review after a lot praying on a heavy heart. When we came the last Sunday we walked in via the main entrance and saw bold lettering signs that read “Abortion is Murder”. You should know my family is pro-life and we agree that abortion is murder. During the worship these signs were mentioned as being a Church sponsored event (I've attached a picture of the Sunday bulletin as this is not a slanderous or fake review) These were called “conviction signs”. My wife and I were instantly disgusted. I can assure you that someone in that congregation has likely had an abortion in their life but seek to grow their relationship with Christ. How insulting and degrading, that they get to go to worship and have the be reminded of their sin in such a demeaning way? I didn't see the signs that said “Stealing is wrong”, “Adultery is sin”, etc. If you want to change the laws in this country, go vote. These signs have ZERO place in the Lord's house and a congregation supported ministry like that is absolutely terrible. This is equivalent to Westboro Baptist Church level of insanity. How do you preach Christ's love and then act like that PUBLICLY? You aren't doing anything but causing people hurt. I cannot associate with a Church that thinks this is okay. It is not acceptable and the Elders/Deacons of this congregation should be ashamed for allowing it. In love I pray that God softens your hearts to see that this approach is wrong and not Christ-like. I'm sure many visitors would respond in a similar fashion. I'm thankful we discovered this before getting seriously involved or placing membership. To those in the community that may have seen this display on the side of the street, I am very sorry. Please, know that Christ loves you no matter what you've done and wants to have a relationship with you. This is not the behavior that Christ wants us to represent. Roman 3:23 “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” Matthew 5:43-48 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? And if you greet only your brothers, what more are you doing than others? Do not even the Gentiles do the same?

Nicest group of Christians you could ever hope to meet. It is obvious that they love God, love each other, and love those in the community. We will go to worship there every time we are in the area.
