A Christmas must do! Christ-centered, heart-warming, family-friendly!❤️🎄When you arrive at Cowboy Church in Reno (Paris), you're greeted warmly and your name is included on one of the wagons. While you wait to board, you're served cookies, popcorn, hot chocolate or coffee in the comfortable, decorated sanctuary. The special wagons even have wheelchair availability! I recommend you bring a blanket to wrap in or sit on as the seats are metal and cool on your bum. You're transported back to a bygone era where you get an inside glimpse of a young cowboy as he talks to the Lord, imagining what that first Christmas was like. There are about 9 vignettes beautifully depicting the Nativity story. This was The Cowboy Church's 19th year offering this wonderful Christmas experience to our community. It takes about 150 volunteers! The cowboys ride their horses along with the wagons and there are live animals in the scenes. We were even entertained by a behind-the-scenes story of a runaway donkey 🫏 lassoed and wrangled back by one of the expert ropers. This was my first time to experience Cowboy Christmas, but it will not be my last. Make it one of your Christmas traditions 🎄

We went to Christmas in the camp. It was such a wonderful experience!! Everyone was so welcoming and very dedicated to telling the story of Jesus birthday. The kids loved the cookies and popcorn and hot chocolate. Then we got on the wagon and the story began! A very exciting night. We can not thank this church enough for what they are doing! This was our 2nd year and of course next year we will be back!! Y'all are awesome!

Very friendly people. I attended their play which was very interesting. I would suggest more male actors (a Joseph that looked like Mary was hard to ignore 😂) and only music about Christ playing in the sanctuary. Overall sweet people with great hospitality. …

We had a wonderful time at the live Nativity scenes by horse & wagon! May God Richly Bless You All for the work you do! We will probably come again next Christmas Season as well.

I am traveling so searched online for a church. I chose Cowboy Church Bible Camp because of previous reviews. Google maps do not take you directly to the church so I waited at a crossroads. 3 vehicles passed me before someone stopped to help. I then realized that the road that the other 3 vehicles passed me went only to the church. Wow, people, do few people help anymore? I walked to the church, not one person greeted me. I opened the door myself. Several men standing, not one welcomed me to the church or gave me a bulletin (others had a piece of paper). I sat down. After the announcements & prayer, the singing began, no book, no projected words, just a concert. I looked around for the Holy Spirit in peoples faces & praise coming from their mouths, nothing. After 2 songs, I left. I am saddened to have witnessed this.

The people are genuine and inviting! Great sermons and leadership. Praise and worship has a touch of bluegrass and we love it! I Definitely recommend visiting this sweet church.

Make sure that you come out here for Christmas in the Camp, a living story of the birth of Jesus that you view from a wagon (with bleacher seats) that is pulled by horses.
