  I tried attending CBC for over 5 years in order to give my children a chance to form good relationships and grow in fellowship with their peers. They do have a wonderful youth ministry that is very missions oriented, if your kids can break into the “in” crowd. However, even in the youth ministry, there are the popular favored and there are the invisibles. As for me, I never felt a part of that church family in the entire 5 years I was there. I tried to make connections, volunteered, served, attended classes, and for all the ways and untold times I tried to engage, I cannot say that I ever became a part of that church family. The cliques there are incredibly strong. I personally know of multiple families who gave CBC a try and left for the same reasons, without anyone ever even noticing that they had come or that they had gone. When Pastor Mike was the head pastor, I can say that his messages and knowledge of the Bible were very, very good! He is an impressive man of God. Now, with the newly appointed pastor, who was formerly the head youth pastor, I just can’t see that these issues will change. He is dynamic and sincere, but these underlying issues really do need to be acknowledged and addressed. For as long as that church has existed, it never really grows, and that says something.

  Coronado is a small neighborhood church. I love how easygoing, kind, and friendly they all are. It's a very relaxed atmosphere that makes you feel so welcome. Pastor Mike is very humble and knowledgeable. They have wonderful bible classes and activities for people of all ages, and I love all the missions they support. God bless this church. Thank you for your faithfulness.

  It was my first time there. Very friendly people, live band, singing. The pastor is very nice. The sermon was great and he explained things using the Bible in such a way that I believe all could understand. There was also a guest speaker. They have Bible studies and activities for everyone. I liked it a lot.

  I have been looking for a church that felt like “home”. This is it. I had a very challenging year last year and I felt like Sunday service was written fir me each time. It’s hard to describe. The youth services are phenomenal and the classes offered are amazing as well. Pastor Mike is a very special soul. I suggest you go to this church with a open heart and you will be touched as I was.

  I am writing this in the hope that no one will feel unwelcomed. This review will not benefit me, but I am writing this for future visitors. But I still like pastor Mike! He is the only thing that I liked about this church. God bless you and your church!

  I absolutely love this church! It provided support and love with gentleness. It taught me about God's' characteristics and helped me grow as a Christian. I may not live in El Paso, anymore, but I still reference CBC to other's.

  Coronado Baptist was the first church I attended when I accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior, and praise God for the church family he has placed in my life through CBC! The teachings are solidly biblical and they will help you to grow in your walk with the Lord, as will the many other ministries the church offers. This is a place for everyone, and love abounds for all people here!

  Great place to worship God and get great teaching in God's word. Pastor Mike is such a Spirit led Pastor and gifted as a teacher and Pastor, would highly recommend this church.

  I just went ther for ther halloween festival and place was great. The festival was super fun,food was good they had so many different games for all ages also cake walk like 35 pastry prices. Also other prices also. Definitely going next year for Halloween festival. Plus the place looks nice

  Mike Woods is a great Pastor. I hear him in KELP and visited and surely loves and cares for the well being of the El Paso Community. People there are friendly and inviting.

  It's hard to say anything about a church negatively period this church is done a lot of good for me and it holds many wonderful great Christian people. The other hand, is a group leaders seem to attitude towards members of the church. Bible States do not judge lest the be judged

  I do not trust Pastor Phil Magnum, but the church BBQ had great baby ribs so I can't complain too much.
