Our church home for the last few years. Massive heart for community outreach. Ministry opportunities available, along with local Life Groups. Solid truthful preaching. A great place to worship and get involved.

Citylight Fort Worth is an awesome church with an amazing pastor!!! Jason and his family display God's heart in the way they welcome those who are hurting and broken. They are quick to give selflessly of their time and energy to help people in whatever ways they can. I do not live near this church, but I visit it whenever I can. It is a beautiful and mostly handicapped accessible building, but far more importantly, you will find the truth here. Come be introduced to the God who loved you before time began. ❤️

If you visit the coffee shop across the street and find a window seat, you have an interesting viewpoint of the steeple and Lucile's. It's a good opportunity to sit down with a drink and sketch some interesting textures and shading. As far as the church, well, it's a church. You already know what you're stepping into.

The church seems to have made a shift in mission, focus, or leadership. Spring 2024 they abruptly did not renew a lease contract of a homeschool model program which left them scrambling for space in little time. The program had met there for 10+ years, paying rent and for their own janitorial fees. They previously had an admirable use of facility space for the community from daytime Bible studies, meals on wheels, another church met there, and the homeschool program. I think they also had ESL classes at one time. It was so refreshing to see a centrally located building well used and occupied in so much of the day versus sitting idle for only one use. Now when I drive by, I see mostly empty parking lot. I don’t understand. Surely there is more to the story, but it seems like they shifted their focus from generously allowing groups to meet there.
