I have been attending City Church San Antonio for about seven years now, and my family absolutely loves it. From the moment we stepped in, we felt welcomed by the warm and inviting community. Pastor Brett and Pastor Jon Pyle do an incredible job delivering sermons that are not only insightful but also deeply meaningful. Their messages bring a sense of peace and emphasize the importance of family, which resonates deeply with us. The Sunday worship is truly amazing! After a long, stressful week, it feels so refreshing and uplifting to be part of such a powerful worship experience. Kudos to the entire worship team for leading with such passion and dedication. One of the things I love most about this church is how inclusive and welcoming it is. No matter who you are or where you come from, you are embraced with open arms. The atmosphere is uplifting, and it truly feels like a second home. If you’re looking for a church where you can grow spiritually, connect with a great community, and feel at peace, City Church San Antonio is the place to be.

Today 7/5/26 we attended the 1pm service and as soon as we pulled into the parking lot my husband waved hi at the parking attendee and we didn’t get any acknowledgment. We started to walk in and there was no one there to great any new people. We went in sat down. The worship felt a bit off beat and I can feel like a dark presence as I stood there trying to worship. I heard a child crying 1/2 way through the worship (it didn’t bother me because I’m a mom and understand not all days are great) service started they played a marriage counseling video to recruit other married couples after the pastor came out to start his sermon and the child was still crying and he said out loud “I’m going to pause for just a moment” the entire church turned to look at the parent having trouble to leave with the child and the child was crying saying “I don’t want to go” none of the ushers went to help this mother. Then she leaves out the door and the pastor says “well you can’t always get what you want” then continues to preach. I should’ve left right there and then yet I stayed because my husband as intrigued into the series they had going on but I will never be coming back here. Not welcoming, no friendly greeters, pastor was rude for pointing the mother out and that was ridiculous. Being a mother can be hard and having a grown man point you out in front of 100s of people is embarrassing! Word to the pastor: DO BETTER!

Well this is the quickest microwave version of the gospel. If you like that this is perfect for you. If you like the home cooked meal where they take time to make it from scratch this is not the church. Amazing worship- like the brownie in the tv dinner you always look forward too. Though the this has the imitation Salisbury steak… it was the best at the time it, you knew it wasn’t the real thing… A good juicy steak… Homemade tortillas… Whatever your favorite home-cooked meal is.. This is not it. Like I said, it’s a good microwave dinner. In-N-Out in one hour - too much hype… nothing like the 90’s - my sodium just went up with that iodide bleached out sodium salt…

Excellent music and worship. One of the more ethnically diverse churches. Messages are decent and grace based. They accept as you are and are not judgemental.

Sing Praises and worship with a Great community that welcomes all. Preaching is understandable from a New believer to a seasoned believer. We Love it here!!!!

Went out to catch a concert at this venue and it was worth the effort to drive down. Ample parking, decent seating and helpful staff. Only complaint I can see someone having was where a few cameras were placed (if you were sitting right behind them) but it didn't affect us. Great night out and will consider future events here.
