City on a Hill church is where I choose to worship God. They are truly come as you are. Rich or poor all are accepted into the true house of God. You don't have to dress in a suit and tie. Blue jeans and a t- shirt are just fine. They even accept ex felons and current felons. This church truly believes God forgives our past. It's a church where you don't have to hide any secrets. This is the way God truly ment for his church to be come as you are all are forgiven.

I attend city on a hill every week and the sermons are top notch pastor derrick has a heart of gold and has a passion for the lost and a love for the saint. Jessica pastor Derrick's wife has a true anointing of worship. All of the praise team is awesome. This is truly a hospital for sinners. I attended the Christmas Eve service this year (2021) and it was beautiful and packed at the seams. I love this church and everything is it represents. They are a true reflection of Christ and I look forward to many years to come

We dropped off our 15-month-old daughter at the kids' church ministry around 9:30 AM for their second service. After the service ended, we picked her up at 10:30 AM in the same building. As soon as we walked to our car, she began clutching her throat, turning red, and was unable to breathe or cry. Thankfully, I was able to quickly dislodge the foreign object thanks to my emergency response training. We immediately took her to Cook Children's ER to have her evaluated by medical professionals. After the choking incident, I noticed blue streaks on her tongue and lips, as well as blue and green playdough on the bottom of her shoes. We texted a nursery staff member to ask if she had been near playdough, and they responded that they thought she might have sneaked some in her mouth but "didn’t find any" when they checked. However, it seems she did sneak a bite, and she could have died in the parking lot if we hadn’t acted quickly. I am deeply concerned about the level of supervision in the kids' ministry at this church. At my child’s age (15 months), she should not have had unsupervised access to playdough, which is rated for children 2 years and older. I also believe that, had the staff been properly watching her, they would not have reacted quickly enough if she had choked on their watch. I would strongly warn other parents with young children to reconsider leaving them in this facility.

This church is truly about the help, hope, and healing of real people going through real life. I wish I could give 10 stars! I appreciate the biblical teaching by our Pastor who isn’t afraid to tell us the truth. I love the freedom groups that are set up so great to be a safe place to let go of things and work through them. As a mom I absolutely love the children’s ministry and how they love on our kids and teach them God’s word. I love the personal aspect of life groups and really connecting in real life with people who are in the same kind of season of life I’m in. And most of all I’m so thankful for Christ and that He brought me here to fellowship with this awesome bunch of people who love Him!

Having spent my life in the reality of Health Care, I've always looked for a Home where God would also talk to me (in this case and place) through people. I've been in his Word a long time, but I also need to GET, from another person, another experience, another look at everything. I came to Texas the same year this place was founded and thank God, City on a Hill found me finally through my wife, from one of her own patients. From the foundation and feeding by Pastor Reeves to the live, online, and in-the-halls-countenance of Pastor Bledsoe and the entire Pastoral Staff (too many to name), I'm getting fed on all levels, and each one bears the print of deep and direct Biblical authority. And there's more. What led me to the front door here was the "Groups", of every sort and kind of ministry-- DEEP, punctuating every week: welcoming, non-judgmental, and as real as potatoes. As deeply flawed as I am in my walk with Jesus, my family, and my patients, I have to be spiritually seated at the "Chef's Table", where there's red meat on the menu and endless "Sides"... I've never gone hungry here and I've never been swamped or shamed... there's real Hope here, and as head of a family that God has crafted for me after a lifetime of convoluted living, I've got a new life, genuinely new every day. If you're at all like me, just make it to the Front Door on Sunday: Authentic people will meet and greet you in the most genuine way, and you'll feel the Master's presence for sure. My House and I are so grateful for this Next Level, this Team, the Spirit and where he leads, straight into the Day that will never end....

This church SAVED my life & gave life back into my family!! This church met me where I was, broken and not sure what life had for me. The staff & pastoral staff was right there by my side. The most important thing that they have gave me is my Savior Jesus Christ, he truly loves me! The worship team also helped me so so much. I was able to open the Bible up and know where the songs came from.

City On a Hill is a church for people who need and seek a closer walk with Jesus Christ. My life has been changed because of the Help, Hope and Healing found through the multitude of Freedom Groups and bold preaching here. I love my church and am so glad I found City On a Hill in 2019! I have deeper relationships with others at City On a Hill because of the Freedom Groups. I also love how our pastors are not afraid to preach on the tough issues of life directly from Scripture. Pastor Derrick goes through the Bible verse by verse, which blesses me time and again. I thank God for the life changing ministry of City On a Hill in Fort Worth!

A Church that is Christ centered with strong biblical teaching from God's word (Bible). Church focuses on the hope, help and healing power of Christ and how this can be lived out in each of our lives. They offer a large variety of classes from kids to adults. If you're looking for a place for your kids, they have a large basketball gym where they have classes and games. Highly recommend visiting!
