Finding City Hills Church was different. From the very beginning, there was a peace and confirmation in my spirit that this was where God was leading me. The pastors preach the truth of God’s Word straight from the Bible, with clarity, love, and boldness. It’s not watered down, and it’s not about opinions it’s about Jesus. The pastors’ hearts, along with the pastor’s wife, are genuine, humble, and deeply caring. You can tell they truly love God and His people. There is authenticity here, and that has meant everything to me after such a long season of searching. Now, I’m not only attending I’m serving, growing, and being stretched in the best way. This church has helped restore my faith, strengthen my walk with God, and remind me why church matters so much. City Hills isn’t just a church I attend it’s a place God used to bring healing, direction, and a renewed sense of purpose back into my life. I’m so grateful to call this my church home.

City Hills is a GREAT church. Spirit filled and biblically founded. Pastor Mitch delivers The Word of God with passion and in an applicable way. The worship is united from the front row to the back and side to side. You can really feel the presence of God in that place. This is the type of church you want your kids to be raised in and the kind of church your own faith can grow with.

My wife and I recently made the (not so far) move from San Antonio and loved our local church to Stone Oak but wanted to find something a bit closer to our new home. We tried several local churches and instantly found home when we walked in the doors of City Hills. Mitch, Brandy, and team made us feel so welcomed and went over and beyond to make sure we felt at home. It's so important to find a church that you feel at home with and I definitely recommend trying City Hills. I'm glad we found our new church home.

There are a lot of wonderful people who call this church home. We did for a long time, too, and we thought we mattered. We ended up experiencing having another church member brazenly steal our business from us and use our ideas, designs, and so much more to start their own business. There isn't room here to describe all that happened, but despite knowing there were issues, one of the pastors endorsed the other member's business on social media. I sent a lengthy email explaining everything that had taken place, doing my best to describe our utter heartbreak and grief at what had been done to our family to lose everything we had worked so hard for. I hoped for an opportunity to meet and try to resolve things. The response I received back was angry, offended, and immature for any believer but for a pastor was unthinkable. We had for a while suspected that the need for money played a role in the choice of relationships (high tithers) that the pastors chose but what we experienced only confirmed it. If you are big tither or are able to immerse yourself in volunteering in this church, your experience will be good. If you don't fit either of these categories, your mileage may vary. This and other very serious situations show that the pastors tolerate open sin, as long as you tithe well or volunteer every weekend.

City Hills Church has been my church home in Boerne, TX for the past three years! The culture of family Ps Mitch & Brandy Rose have created really make this place feel like home. The best church in Boerne, TX! Highly recommend this church if you are looking for a new church home!
