Such an amazing church. This place has changed my life and I have seen countless people's lives be changes as well. A church that proclaims both spirit and truth in the heart of Dallas. The love of Jesus is evident here and it is a praying church. Come check us out if you are curious about Jesus and are hungry for the abundant life of following him!

PRAYING FOR GROWTH; GREAT PLACE TO WORSHIP I have been attending City Church International since April and I can honestly say that I appreciate much about this church. The unity of having one location and most of the congregation attending one service carries real weight for me. Scripture tells us, “so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another” (Romans 12:5). Gathering together as one church reflects that truth in a simple and meaningful way. The worship has been consistently excellent, not only in sound but in substance. I value that they place Scripture references under many of the songs. It reminds me of Colossians 3:16 which says, “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.” They also read full passages of Scripture in their services, which should be normal but is rarely practiced by other churches. Hearing the whole counsel of God read aloud brings to mind 1 Timothy 4:13 which says, “Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to exhortation, to teaching.” I also appreciate what this church does not do. There is no merch, no sales, no pressure giving, and no marketing of personality. It feels refreshingly free of the commercial mindset that has become far too common with American churches. The communal atmosphere between services is warm, and that reflects Acts 2:42 which says, “And they devoted themselves to the apostles teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.” There are a few areas where I would love to see growth. It is sometimes difficult to discern who the primary teacher or shepherd is. Since April, Brad has preached infrequently, and consistent pastoral direction helps a congregation in the long run. Scripture highlights the importance of clear shepherding. I Peter 5:2 says, “Shepherd the flock of God that is among you, exercising oversight, not under compulsion, but willingly, as God would have you.” I also wish there was a more robust avenue for men to study Scripture deeply, ask questions, and be equipped to defend the faith. I Peter 3:15 commands, “but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you.” A structured apologetics or theology study would help the church obey this calling in a practical way. Still, I have nothing negative to say about the culture or the motives of this church. Compared to many places I have attended, City Church International feels sincere, reverent, and free from self promotion. They keep the service simple and centered on Scripture, and for that I am grateful. I would gladly encourage others to visit and see for themselves. Overall, I am thankful for my time here and pray that God continues to strengthen this church in truth, clarity, and discipleship.

I walked in mid service right next to where the pastor was preaching. I was embarrassed but the love the congregation showed to me was unbelievable. They didn't judge me based on appearance didn't care that I was right out of prison, in fact showed love to me even more. I found my church home.

Great Church and body of believers. The community here really cares about each other, the worship is so sincere, and the preaching is solid. It’s really worth giving a try!

Love City Church! So lucky to have found a comfortable place to be with God and fellow believers and followers. The worship is incredible and the Spirit is palpable here. Always a great message with sound, Biblical doctrine. This is an ethnically diverse and loving congregation and you will feel welcome here!

Relocated to Dallas a couple of weeks ago. Visited with my son for the first time and loved it. The worship team was great and I think the preacher knew I was coming because he preached a RIGHT ON TIME word for me.

City Church International is a home away from home. We are thankful to service this place but we also attend. This is truly a holy place where the Lord is existent. We will continue to Know Jesus, Love People, to impact Our World!

I love this church! It’s made up of an ethnically, culturally, generationally, and economically diverse community that is welcoming and feels like family. The word of God is PREACHED. The Holy Spirit is present. And the worship is Dallas’ “best-kept secret.”

So many sweet people here. The most diverse church I’ve ever been too - multiple languages, all skin colors, every age, and every income group - from homeless to business owners and professionals. The place where people who are curious about who God is and what His purpose for you is can find answers, feel welcome, and find community.

If you desire a diverse community from ethnicity to socioeconomic background, that is committed to glorifying God and genuinely seeking reconciliation and restoration in their community, you will love getting involved at City Church. It doesn't have some of the fancies that other churches may have but it does have a genuine, compassionate and intentional mission to reach people for Jesus. Come, but don't just be a spectator, get involved!
