  Worst church I ever went to!. I came in to find fellowship and I was met with judgment and hatred. The pastor is the worst of all. Talk about being a hypocrite. He will fill you with a word from God only to find out later he is taking behind your back and wants nothing to do with you. The choir is the worst. You can tell when they are singing there is no spirit of the Lord moving that church. It's because the Pastor is prejudice and doesn't want to help the sinners. I confessed my sin I was struggling with and once I did he totally changed his demeanor and how he interacted with me. Last time I checked my Father said I would always find refuge in his house. Well I guess this is not my Father's house because I was asked to leave. I would stay away from this church unless you want to filled with watered down Gospel every Sunday.

  I was raised Catholic and my wife Methodist. We tried several churches when we moved to the area, but CLC is the first one where we felt like family immediately. Pastor Ryan sent us a personalized message after our first visit and that sealed the deal. Everyone has been incredibly friendly and the Life Groups are a great way to apply Sunday lessons to the rest of the week. The kids enjoy their classes as well. It's a great place to cultivate our relationship with God in an upbeat atmosphere.

  Idk who needs to hear this but I wrote it for you. If you’re looking for a place, I’d encourage you to try this one. I was trying to decide where to try first as I’d had so many not ideal experiences in churches throughout my life and never felt part of the church. I just knew it’d take a while to find one I liked. While searching online I felt a pull to try this one first. This is just my experience and not to discourage you if it the sermon doesn’t hit you the first day, but it hit me like George Foreman hit Michael Moorer, and on the first day. I walked in on exactly what God needed me to hear and fix and I cried every Sunday and worked on myself for 3 months. And no one’s bothered by it. No one bombards you immediately, and I liked that. They were police, welcoming but not up in your business off the bat. 4 months later I’m volunteering. They’re letting me be a part of it and that feels nice. I’m slowly getting my confidence back. The singers in the morning worship just exude the joy I aspired to have again and they’re all beautifully equipped vocally but one especially has been gifted angel vocal cords! I call it a morning concert. High energy, beautifully done worship service that just makes you feel good. To me, and those I’ve invited, they all say they feel the Holy Spirit here. The vibe is just good. I say if you’re unsure where to go, go here. The miracles that have happened for us in these last 4 months is proof enough to me that God is in the room. It is his house after all. The congregation a a whole has just been open and accepting of us. They’ve jumped in and helped with my children in the most respectful way, they’ve helped me clean coffee I spilled during worship in such a way I didn’t have to feel embarrassed or like a problem. Beautiful bunch of people. And lastly, but not least, the Bible can be hard to understand, for sure. But this pastor, will read it to you, and right when I’m thinking “what’s that mean” he’s all like “and that means….”, so Pastor Ryan is an incredible teacher, if you’re wanting to learn and understand, you will get that here. One more lastly, mind you I came in critical but only looking for God. I expected to be judged in my position. Outcast. But these people don’t do that. They testify. They’ll stand up and tell you their worst lows in life - stuff most churches hide, and then how God turned it around. They showed me that all that joy beaming off their faces wasn’t from an easy untroubled life, and I needed to see that. It was from a difficult one with miracles and redemption and salvation. It’s walking through the fire and coming out better. I didn’t need perfect. I needed real. I came to find God and found a community as well. My children with special needs even found community as well. And I’ve found they rarely fit in anywhere. They fit in here and are welcomed and loved. 💜 And it is well with my soul.

  CLC is an absolutely amazing church that became like family for my husband, daughter, and I! We attended this church for just over 3 years before leaving the area recently due to my husband coming down on military orders. Otherwise we would still be going to this church without a doubt. Everyone is very nice and welcoming. They have a great childcare and Sunday school program for the little ones. Pastor Ryan and the other assistant pastors all do a phenomenal job at providing weekly messages that are directly from the bible and are presented in ways that are applicable and relatable to today's society. Also, CLC provides an extensive list of ways that you can get involved within the church to in turn help the local community. Finally, this church is one of the most culturally diverse churches that I have ever been to or seen, which makes this church all that more awesome. :)

  I’ve been attending Christian Life Church in Killeen since April of this year and I’ve mostly had good experiences every Sunday. However, this Sunday after hearing Mike Mansel speak about his disdain for the Army policies “don’t ask, don’t tell” and the new transgender policy (which is mandatory for all service members and leaders to also support) it made me a bit uneasy. He used the term “wacky” to describe the new policy and smirked while doing so. I would still like to attend the church service, however I would ask that he uses a better selection of words if given the opportunity to minister.

  When we first moved to the area, no church we tried seemed right until we went to CLC. It instantly felt like home! It's honestly another family for us. Pastor Ryan is a great teacher and the church has sound values. We couldn't be any happier with it!

  I dare you to try falling asleep in this service!!! Energetic praise team with beautiful voices, friendly congregation, great Hot Cocoa and then Pastor Ryan presents an inspiring meassage that will have you thinking all week about what was said. You will remember the message, dwell on how it relates to your life, how your walk with God can be better, how you can serve our God while on this earth. This is a church where you don’t get lost in the numbers, a home where you feel like family from day one. There is even a special parking spot for your first visit!. Try it out you won’t be disappointed! For a real surprise, fill out the welcome card and see what happens, I promise it will put a smile on your face!

  This church is amazing. The church staff and families here are bar none the best there is. God is first in every aspect of this place. Worship is amazing. Sermons are straight from the word of God. Couldn’t ask for a better place to hear the gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Love this place and it’s people.
