This is by far the best church I have ever been to. The friendliest people and the Spirit of God is always present. It is truly a Bible based church. Awesome preaching and great praise and worship. I can't recommend it highly enough. Come and make this your church home.

I absolutely love this church. We moved to Mabank a little over a year ago. My husband worked out of town quite a bit so I visited several churches by myself hoping to find a new church home for us. I found myself going back to CLC several times. It just felt good - the messages were great, alter calls, communion, spirit filled, the atmosphere is light and sincere, no pressure but felt very welcome. The first time my husband attended he turned to me at one point and said "this is definitely our church home". We have been so welcomed, it feels like we've always been here. I feel very blessed to have been guided to CLC.

I recently moved to Texas from Missouri and visited Christian Life Center this past Sunday, March 5, 2023 as this is the closest church to my home and appeared to be a great option when looking at their website and reviews. Wow, NOT a good experience whatsoever! I can honestly say that I have never felt so alone, unwelcome, and insulted. Upon entering, it was apparent that I was new and was greeted at the door with the small-talk "Hi, how are you?" but no introduction or offer to assist in navigating my way into the service. After entering the sanctuary, I seated myself near the back in an attempt to observe. As others filed in, I still found myself alone. Prior to service beginning, only 3 people approached me... the first was a friendly handshake and small-talk greeting, the second lady actually introduced herself as Lisa, but the third and last made me feel as if I were being accused of being a drug addict. No introduction whatsoever. Instead, an interrogation of "Your eyes are awfully glassy looking. You need something?" to which I say "no, ma'am, I'm okay". She then continued "you sure you don't need something? Your eyes are really glassy looking". The manner in which the questioning was done made me feel so incredibly small and out of place. How on earth does one go about doing that to another sister in Christ? The questions felt intrusive and like accusations. I did not feel welcome whatsoever. I felt like I was viewed to be a potential drug addict. If that were the case, church is where I should have felt most welcome. While that is not the situation for me, I am going through a very difficult period in my life. I must admit, however, that the preaching was quite dynamic and Spirit-filled. Unfortunately, I chose to begin seeking my new church home in the wrong location. I will be making a longer drive to other churches and am confident that the Holy Spirit will place me where I belong. Christian Life Center is certainly not the right place.

More so a question than a review. Do you have overcomers on Tuesday and if so what time. As far as knowing much about the church I don't know. I just meet at my job who said you had overcomers.

Watch out for these guys. Always asking for money. Pastor seems real nice but the church is always having money problems. Got a letter from them asking for money. It said if they didn't get $13,000 by the end of the month they were going to have to shut the doors. If you are in God's will then why are you behind on your bills. Im just saying something doesn't smell right.
