  Took my daughter here for a trunk or treat event. Folks were very friendly and even had complimentary hot dogs, coffee, hot chocolate and smores. There was something for everyone. Most of the games were centered around Christ so if you dint believe in God then this might not be a place for you to go next year.

  Members don’t interact with you. Staff is polite. Didn’t realize they are Pentecostal. Pastor did sound enthusiastic like the TV preachers, …sounded like he lost his voice a little toward end of service. Kids service is in same building on the 2nd floor. Children attend their service while parents can attend the adult service. Lady who checks your kids in was highly focused. Not rude at all but not friendly either. Only real conversation was with the security volunteer. Clean building. Clean bathrooms. Not much of a place to fellowship with people (at least that’s the impression I got as a first time visitor ) but you’ll get a good sermon ….half with biblical insight and half with the preacher hollering praise to God at the top of his lungs. If you need a wake up revival this is the place. Possibly might hear people speaking in tounges. Some go down to the front to be prayed with, and may exhibit signs of a seizure…I was told the person was ok, just experienced the holiness of God’s presence. Glad that they believe Jesus is the Messiah. I don’t think I would join this church, but I would go again for a community event and I would take my kids here. I think the kids had fun. The lady who checks in the children eventually started talking with me after the service and started to become friendly and it was nice to see the baptism after the service.

  If you are looking for an upbeat, keep you awake Preacher. Look no further! Not only is Pastor Kevin enthusiastic, passionate, but he preaches straight from Bible!! He preaches the hard truth we all need to hear! The congregation, they are family!! They welcome you with open arms, no matter your circumstances! Come as you are and let us shower you with the love of Christ!

  We have been members here for quiet some time. We are not a huge church, with "tons" of members. We are a small caring church, with lots of caring members, that will look after you and shepherd you through your Christian walk. We are a church that supports and helps each other, like the body of Christ should be. We are eager to help mentor and direct your children down the right paths. Our church will love and accept you just as you are, whether broken or saved, we are all imperfect people, striving for the same goal.... To get to Heaven and spend eternity with our Jesus one day!

  WOW! Drive to Lampasas to view the total eclipse and had planed to park at the Christ of Rock church to view it. Who would have figured a church would charge $40 for parking just to view the eclipse, you’d think it would be free. So, I drove across the street and parked in the grass, free of charge. That must be some ultra-high-grade asphalt! Is it Blessed?

  My personal experience is not to Count, there are only great people and a very special pastor Kevin and his wife, you, can feel the holy Spirit in that whole sanctuary, and the power of Al the prayers, we would have a so much better world if just all would feel what we feel in that CTRC church in lampasas, common in and feel the power , coming in and feel the blessings,common in and feel how it feels to be so close to the holy God his son Jesus Christ and the holy Spirit, Sincerely Chris Ramirez

  Best church ever , and I have been looking all over Texas and I found it right here in Lampasas, our pastor and his wife are the best even I can understand what the word means, thank you and God bless y'all be save and blessed in the name of Jesus Christ Amen
