Fantastic Lord's Day Service! From liturgy to prayer, worship to reading Gods Word together, reciting the Decalogue to the sound preaching of God's Word. 1689 Confession of Faith and committed to glorifying God by following His commandments in love. Not to mention, I have watched the elders tend to the sick and in need, work on people's homes, give food and transportation to the homeless, and mentor the fatherless. This is what a Biblical Church looks like! Update after a year: The deep scriptural, historical roots and theological understanding of the elders here is above and beyond anything I have come across in East Texas so far. This balance of sound doctrine combined with influence from reliable historical saints, results in beautiful liturgy, historical praise (some of which dates back to the Early Church), and extremely thorough interpretation of Scripture. This is not surface level religiosity, this is soul-feeding, worldview shaping Faith. A church that really adopts the Gospel call "dead to self, alive in Christ."

Very loving church! Now some God-haters may disagree, but our Creator defines love always functioning in the truth and obeying His commands. Therefore they are very loving, Gospel centered, and Bible based. The worship is regulated by God from His Word. You will not find those taken captive by human traditions at Christ Is King.

Christ is King does church the way God has ordained, scripture based and joyfully followed. It is not a show up for an hour or two on Sunday and claim to be a Christian type of church. It is an eternal family that shows love to one another and holds one another accountable for their actions. The pastors live and lead biblically 24/7 at home, work, church and in the community.

One of the best churches in East Texas. They are a true church among many professing churches that have compromised and are not true churches any longer. The men that pastor and lead this church are the finest men I know. The people and fellowship are tremendous.

This “church” is traveling to completely different cities to protest peaceful events just because they can’t accept that people are different from them. It is obvious that they do not “love thy neighbor”, unless love means harass and hate.

10/10 do not recommend. My family went to pride in the square today. It WAS peaceful. Everyone was minding their own business. Nathan Irving and his crew showed up harassing everyone out of nowhere, speaker and all, harassing everyone for no reason. I understand "spread the word" and all, but if people don't want to hear it, why go to events you KNOW it's not wanted? That is LITERAL harassment.

I have visited the church twice. I was welcomed and enjoyed the messages Pastor David shared. He has a strong presentation and tells it like it is. I'm considering joining. I recommend visiting if you can.
