Central Pres is my childhood church. My parents attended from age 5 - 16. I remember the preacher's robes, his sleep-inducing sermons, the warm caring tutelage of the Sunday School teachers. I learned the tenants of the Christian faith here. Here I went through Communicants’ class, was baptized, & became a Presbyterian. † Nearly all the church's pews were given by families in the early 20th century. From inside on a Sunday morning, the stained-glass windows - full of sunshine - were breathtakingly beautiful. The pipe-organ was of concert quality. I often had trouble singing, because I was too mesmerized by the sound of the pipe organ.

An exemplary day school. Could not ask for a better introduction to school for my kids and I am a public certified educator. Love it and the staff!
