Was trying to get information to help me with paying my rent. Because it was so close to Christmas they had used all of the funds used up. Now I'm 2 months behind for my rent. And this week I was serviced with an eviction notice. I have to be in court the beginning of February. I have been terminated from my job that I worked at for 5 years. I was out due to having back surgery. The staff was very helpful and friendly

When we went I honestly must say there were loving people in my Mother's generation that were friendly & reached out. We wanted to be a part of a small group where the real connections are made. Each of the two we were invited to join was all people in my Mother's generation. No fellowship for our young daughter. We tried visiting other classes to become part of a group with children. We knew this way in time we might become included & involved. Not one friendly gesture. To give an example; our daughter wished to be baptized & we had no way to get in touch with anyone but the preacher. He was in Israel at the time. We tried desperately but ended up baptizing her in our bathtub & streaming it on Facebook messenger to family as witnesses. What do you say to a young Christian who comes home from school or the kids gym & tells you kids there are loving and excepting unlike at church? This is a problem for God's church. I find a great many Christian friends from college who no longer go to church now because they had no Christian fellowship. I honestly believe a great many good Christians are so busy in their lives, & visiting their friends at church & busy doing good works they don't notice. Central has good Christians there. A beautiful widow in the first class we were a part of loved me with a giving & Christian heart. She is always in my prayers & I miss her everyday. Central's amazing work to help those downtown is truly a blessing to Amarillo. I have no anger or bitterness in my heart & I pray every morning & night for God's church. I only pray now that he will give me the strength to keep myself & my family true to Him & to continue to go & worship him with no Christian fellowship to strengthen us except from our family who live out of town. May God bless & help all Christians to have their eyes opened as mine are now. I remember a church in Abilene that assigned long time members who volunteered to new members. They were called their Member key couple or family. The new members were given all contact information for them. These long time members would help them become involved, answer questions, meet with them each week & more. I also remember that their Sunday night Care groups were shuffled up each year. So that the groups didn't become so tight knit that new members would not feel like intruders or outsiders & so all members got to know each other better. The care groups were made up of all ages to better learn from each other. The Soul Friends groups were never shuffled. They met with us & have already started to help make things better. We now have access to their member application & have synchronized our group calendars on our electronic devices. Wonderful church that listens & is willing to help. After this we never were put in small groups & we asked for help moving my mother in on a Wednesday night hours before class. We were refused. It would have taken less than an hour with just a few people. My husband & I did it ourselves took past 11 at night. We have met former members since we left & they were never included either & only called about money pledge to their ignite program. It is sad that the church is like this. The church isn't just supposed to be clickish or minister to the "unchurched". I cannot even count the number of people who are baptized Christian who don't go to church anymore at all. Really sad!

I just wanted to thank your church for helping with my electric bill yesterday. I feel so embarrassed that I had to ask for help. Everyone was so kind and non judgemental and I appreciate you for that. Thank you so much
