Older pleasing architecture dating to late 1800s. Nice congregation, next to the Baptist Hospital and San Antonio Central Public Library and Fox Tech High School. …

I recently switched day cares and chose Central Christian after viewing several others in the downtown area. I fell in love with it the moment I walked inside. The teachers are very loving and caring. You can tell the staff truly care about the children. The daycare I switched from was more about making money. I am so happy to have found this daycare. The curriculum is great. My almost two year old is saying words in Spanish. It is amazing. Very happy with my choice and my daughter loves it there too!

Very good sunday service that has other devices too that day. " Children's moment" is when they call the children up in front of the whole congregation and have a valuable yet simple lesson for them that we would hear also. Then take them to the back for Sunday school. Before service they have coffee and donuts. 2 restrooms. 1 male. 1 female. The only downside that can be exciting depending on your perspective is this. Big place, lots of turns. If you're new then you might get lost and if the service is on then you might haft to try and wait or make sure you take care of everything before service. Optimistic way about it is - it's big so it's an adventure and lots of curiosity and learning. Sunday service starts around 10:50 am. This is all I remember. Thank you and hope this helps.

Love this daycare. I'm a downtown executive at a local nonprofit. This place is warm, welcoming, simple and affordable. Most importantly, my daughter looks forward to being here and openly runs into the arms of her care staff. That's a good feeling.

Beautiful music, church and fantastic minister. On Easter they almost had an orchestra. One Sunday everyone releases red balloons outside after the service. Very inspirational sermons! I LOVE this church. I've looked all over San Antonio for a church and found this one. Even though I live in Encino Park on the North side, I drive downtown to go to church here. They also have one of the last carrilions where they have real Bells in the steeple and the organist goes up the stairs after church to play them. He too us up to the steeple to see him play!!!!!!

The best place to worship, hands down! Everyone is so friendly and courteous and then make you feel so welcomed. 8-year-old granddaughter will be getting baptized there and left in 2 weeks.

Michael Passmore, the preacher is such an amazing person. I know him from his care for my cousin with disabilities. He is the most Christianly (is that a word?!) person I know. Definitely a person that walks the walk. Thank you MIchael for all you do....in front of the congregation and also behind the scenes with your love for others.
