We visited this church for 7 weeks while we where in town and it was amazing. Br Jerry and his whole family are truly a blessing. If you want a real deep Bible message (the toe stepping kind) it’s the church for you. We will truly miss it.

Bible preaching church that loves their community and loves the Lord. Sound in doctrine. Still uses the hymn book. Conservative and Godly standards. Can't recommend them enough if you're looking for a church home near Athens.

Central Baptist Church is a great church if you are looking for traditional values and a loving church family. They have great programs for kids and teens in addition to solid, Biblical preaching. There is a very welcoming, friendly atmosphere at this church and you will soon feel like a part of the family.

I have been going to Central Baptist Church Athens since I was 3 years old. This is not just my church this is my family. Everyone is always so loving and caring. We have some of the best prayer warriors.

Absolutely my favorite place to be! God is so present in the people at Central! You definitely feel loved beyond all measure when you go to Central Baptist!

Such a wonderful Church to receive God's word. Never have I ever felt so welcome and at home. I have already claimed this church "my church".

Everyone there was so welcoming and nice. The sermon was great. Definitely a place to go back to.
