  I have been attending here for about a month and have felt very welcome by everyone there. I did not know anyone when I first went to Calvary First Baptist Church, but they have helped to make me feel part of the congregation. The worship here has been wonderful and I have been able to gain something from each service and group I have been part of. I encourage anyone looking for a good Church to check this one out

  God led me to this church and I will say I have found everyone here to be loving and welcoming. The Pastor and his family are good God loving folks. The Deacons are good men and focused on making this church as God wants. Now don't get me wrong there are always those in every group who have issues with another or some petty issues they have of their own. But God is working in this church and unfortunately people have come and gone. But please, as Jesus tells us, do not judge others, therefore I am not judging anyone. I just ask that you come see for yourself. I have come to love it here. I believe you will too. Hope this review will help guide you in your search for a church and I wish you nothing but the best. Regardless where you decide to attend just get in a church and Go ALL IN for Jesus!! God Bless!!

  Over a year ago my family decided to go out and find a church that fits us. My older brother found Calvary First Baptist Church on the internet. We went on a Sunday just to visit. Our original talk was to try some different churches until we found one that fit us. Well over a year later we are still with Calvary First Baptist church. The day we walked in everyone one made us feel welcome. The Pastor, his family, and so many different people introduced themselves to us including my little boy. Which if you know me this is a HUGE deal to me! My son went to a class for his age and the rest of us went to worship. I remember thinking I can't believe I let my child go with people I don't know. I tell you this was the best day ever. Listening to the Pastor give his sermon and I understood every word. Listening to the signing and thinking WOW and still to this day loveing it! When my son came back to me he could not stop talking about what he learned. He learned so much and had so many questions. His words to me driving home "Mommy, I want to come back here next week". I will never forget this. We have tried different churches in the past when he was younger. We would leave and I would say what did you learn his words "I don't remember". I thought well he just is not old enough. No, that was not it. It was we needed to keep looking until we found the right one. We both are so excited every Wednesday and Sunday to go Worship and grow with GOD in an AWESOME CHURCH!! Since we walked in the door here the Preacher, his family, and all the great people have become our family. My son and I were both Baptized, my son is part of AWANA and I get to help out with Youth (which are a GREAT GROUP OF KIDS), They have all accepted us for who we are and what we been through and still going through. So I am going to tell you if you want a GREAT CHURCH for your family and kids please come see us. Come check out how Awesome Tim Preaches, the Great Worship times, and all the classes. Come join us for on the WE SERVE Days, or the days we just all eat lunch together!! I am telling you that once you come you will not want to leave. GOD brought my family to the church and has done Great Things...

  Nice church. I enjoyed going when my youth group from GABC visited during our D-Now weekend. Nice people.
