Brookhaven Church has chosen silence over Scripture. The church refuses to speak where the Bible is clear. Adults in their 50s and 60s — and even teens — now come dressed as if heading to a swimming pool, in very revealing clothing, not the house of the Lord. Scripture calls for modesty, holiness, and self-control, not to provoke lust (1 Tim. 2:9; 1 Cor. 6:19; 1 Thess. 4:3–5), yet Brookhaven tolerates this to grow membership. Such silence is dangerous — it does not protect anyone and directly invites God’s wrath. My greatest concern is the children. Many know K-pop lyrics, secular songs, and movie dialogues better than Scripture, and non-Christian music is even permitted in classes and GTG sessions. Young children, who shouldn’t even be thinking about boyfriends and girlfriends, are being shaped more by culture than by Christ. Instead of guarding innocence, BC places them among worldly influences. God warns, “Bad company corrupts good character” (1 Cor. 15:33). When a church chooses silence to please people and lets children be formed by culture instead of Christ, it dishonors the very name it claims to serve and risks bringing God’s judgment upon itself.

We used to pass Brookhaven on our way to another Church. A man was always out front waiving at us as we passed by each week. Later, we felt called to leave the Church we were going to and started attending other Churches. We visited at least 6 other churches. Then, we remembered the one where the guy was out front waving to us every week as it seemed inviting. After our first Sunday, we knew we wanted to go back and see if it was as good the next Sunday. Pastor Glenn has an absolutely amazing way of preaching the word of God. You can feel that he cares about your salvation and giving you tools to grow in your faith. The people are authentic, like the preaching/teaching. From my experience, some churches preach a feel good story, but here, I'm taught how to grow in my faith. Its different. My wife and I are now members. We highly recommend at least a visit to see if it's right for you. God Bless!

I do not recommend this church. They denied me membership because I live with my boyfriend. I can't imagine God turning me away for ANY reason, but this church seems to think that God would condone them turning people away die to marital status and that is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. My God loves me and meets me right where I am. And I am certain if He hasn't already, He will tell His church that the goal isnt to turn people away and that was not ok. But in the meantime I would much rather be at a church that shows love and acceptance so I am going elsewhere. How sad that a church who preaches that God loves you "anyway", can't find it in their hearts to accept everyone. Honestly is is the worst example of Christ's love I have ever witnessed and it broke my heart, not only for me but for the next people they turn away. Way to go guys! You completely missed the point of what a church body should be.

Pastor was great. Spoke directly out of the Bible and was easy to follow along. The Church itself is very nice and clean.

Friendly, open, welcoming. No pressure to join. I like the people. I have gone to several services led by not only the pastor but the youth pastor and Dr. Reagan. All really good and inspiring.

My husband, son and I have been attending Brookhaven church for about 10 weeks now and we'll officially become members this weekend. 🙂 The very first time we visited Brookhaven, I had a feeling this would be our new home. The senior pastor, Glenn Meredith, is the best pastor I've ever heard. He conveys messages in a way that is meaningful and relatable and so easy, like a comfortable conversation. Every Sunday I leave feeling more at peace than I ever have before in my life. My son absolutely loves the preschool class, and is excited to go. He tells us all about the lesson on the way home.

We went here to see Greater Vision Quartet. It was excellent. It was very comfortable seating, and the music was not too loud. The people were very friendly. Plenty of room for handicap with wheelchairs. One floor with no stairs. It was a little cool inside though, but I brought a sweater. Parking was plentiful and close. The building is new with construction ongoing on other side, but no interference. Was a great experience all around.

This has been my home church for 39 years. I love this down-to-earth family church. Bro Glenn & family have been pastor for 40 years so we got to watch their children grown up(son still serves in the ministry team). Amazing children's & youth program! They have a private school on site. Basketball court and ball are open to the community all the time! Wonderful place to call home!
