I recently moved here from California and decided to attend on a Sunday. Let me just say—this church is amazing! From the moment I walked in, everyone was welcoming and genuine. The message was powerful, biblical, and encouraging, and you can truly feel God’s presence here. I’m so thankful I found this church and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to grow in their faith. Cali

Hands down the best church in Cedar Park! Solid and inspiring Bible-based teaching, and a community that cares deeply about one another on a personal level. God’s Word, God’s Spirit, and God’s people- that’s what it’s all about. And you will find that abundantly at Breakaway Church!

I've been attending WBCC for a couple years. And what's so significant about this place of worship is that for the first time in 3 decades and 6 different churches in that span, I can truly say, "I love my church." I haven't experienced this since 1996. We're about to become Breakaway church in August. Break away from religious mediocrity, if that's you, and check out Breakaway soon!!

From the moment we entered the campus the very first day, to now 6 months later we’ve been abundantly received with kindness and genuine affection from volunteers, staff and community. We’ve been fortunate to get connected in a community group, also serve on the prayer team, and so much more. I appreciate the teaching as it is biblically the word of God. Thank you so much for receiving us and we now are making this our church community. We are looking forward to Breakaway Church coming to Cedar Park. Blessings!

Need a church? This is the place. The church moves to a brand new church in August to Cedar Park, called Breakaway. It is on Bushy Creek and Breakaway streets. They offer three services: 9:00, 10:45 and a Spanish service. They have music, Babtize, prayer and group meetings.

One of the best churches I’ve ever been to love care is all around there are people invested in truly helping you spiritually, and also emotionally and mentally and with your relationship with God, true testimonies, and the truth is being spoken from the pit directly. I love this church. It was a very uplifting and light changing for myself and my family I will never forget the love and the support that I received from this church and the care people truly concerned about my little being it was like having a family with no family was around. Also, the prayer that I receive was groundbreaking. I feel like a lot of pain was shed when I attended this shirt and grow it is amazing. If you are seeking a church home, this is replaced to be

This church gave me one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. Certain people here—!!especially some of the pastors and their families!!—carry themselves as if they’re more privileged than others, and they do not respect boundaries. The way they treat people is 100% judgmental, fake, and unkind. They just hide it behind a smile, so you never really know where you stand until you feel it. The atmosphere is anything but loving or real. I came in with excitement and high hopes, but I left feeling worse than when I walked in. never coming back to this church. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but this isn’t just opinion—it’s behavior I witnessed firsthand. Some may disagree, and that’s fine, but usually those who disagree are the ones already in the “circle.” If you’re not part of that circle, you’ll be treated like an outsider. I would also like to add, This church is NOT welcoming to ALL They clearly have a select group they consider “their people,” and if you’re not part of that circle, you’re met with judgment, boundary-crossing, and a very hostile way of pushing people out. Some of the pastors here are the worst offenders—disrespectful, judgmental, and masking it all behind a fake smile. Was looking for a home church and quickly realized this is not that kind of place. A church should be a place of love, acceptance, and community—not a runway where you’re judged by what you wear. If you don’t dress to impress, you’ll feel it here. Sadly, this church has made it clear it is not for everyone, and their treatment of people proves it. I am only sharing my personal experience and what I have observed. Google only allows me one review, so I’m adding this here. In your response, you implied I was confused—I am not. It is very discouraging when trying to find a spiritual home, and in my experience this church in Wells Branch does not reflect the care, trust, and responsibility expected of pastoral leadership or the welcoming environment described in the Bible. My review is based on experience, not opinion. I understand some may not agree, but looking at other reviews, I am not alone.

After attending for 18 months and being involved in a very traumatic series of events that occurred here , my experience can best be summed up by Genesis 50:20: “You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good.” Protecting the institution’s image was prioritized over genuine care, full accountability, and healing.Being SA'd here and then shunned and silenced was not what I was expecting from a church. On a positive note , I was able to adopt a dog from here & serve in two ministries. I share my experience in hopes that things have changed for the better.
