  Based off the past year and ever since Randy has become lead pastor, it’s all about money. Their latest message has been up and out. My perception was that they were going to talk about how to spread the Gospel and equip the congregation with verses or knowledge to do so. That wasn’t the case. It was how to give more for another building. Randy said to the congregation to “use up and wear out” what you have so you can have more disposable income to give more. Yet they have a huge building, an office building and other space they could use up and wear out for their counseling. Instead they ask for more of your money. This is my perspective but leaning on mega church/prosperity gospel message. Just last week they said to think about what you can get in return from your giving….. we are called to give sacrificially but this church is asking us to think about what we could get in return?? All about your money and not about your biblical wisdom.

  Sunday was my first time going to this church. I live right around the corner and was very excited to enter this beautiful campus. I was very impressed when I entered the building and saw the child care center, and was greeted with smiles. However, all of that went out the window when not a single word was said about Charlie Kirk. No prayer for him or his family. No mention of his name. Possibly the greatest Christian activist of our time, and not a single word murmured about him. I will not be going back to this church . Do better because people come to you for guidance.

  This church broke me and gave me religious trauma. Its been a couple of years since ive been here, but I will say stay away if you arent the "perfect Christian" as I would say. Ive had full mental breakdowns here and I was treated more like a nuisance then a person. There was no sympathy. You should also heavily avoid this church if you are LGBT+, they treat you like an alien and they have "preached" that people like me were confusing kids and a bunch of other things under subtext. I was horrifying and made me never want to step into a church again. It didnt make me feel like god loved me, it made me feel like the people around me hated me. They also go on and on about doing things for the church, and that you should give them so much money. Its strange. Espically compared to the smaller churches ive been to who I havent seen beg once like they do.

  Great Church not a member member but they teach right out of the bible I mean right out of it. In which I personally like. The Worship service is also great I do wish they would sing at least one old school hymn more often..... Amazing Grace.......Holy Holy Holy.....etc...🙏 …

  Just a bunch of white people again... another church with no diversity and seeing their size they have the resources to change that and just dont and presumably not welcoming to those outside of white either the same as other churches in the area I looked at.. came in late and tons of one seats available but not one person, even after they saw us sitting on the floor, made an effort to scoot or move their bag or anything. Not a smile, not a wave, not a welcome... another small ton with a booming whites only church..

  I come from a Nazerene church back ground, and after spending nearly 15 years un churched, I started attending BPF about 2 years ago through some friends. Ive made many amazing new friends, and feel like this church has helped my spiritual growth 10 fold. They have many opportunities to serve and get involved and to get into discipleship roles, which i truly believe can be a blessing.

  After sharing my views I understand more about this church and it has so much to offer. I placed a previous review and I found it hard to edit or remove the review. I am praying about this church and feel it is the best church in Lake Jackson. Randy is a great associate pastor. They also offer marriage classes and other enrichment classes on Thursday evenings. Having 3 services is a great option. The big thing for me is praying and asking Jesus To guide you to where He wants you to worship. And don’t join a church until you pray and know if He is wanting you to join. I jump into things too fast sometimes and don’t pray to know His will. This is an amazing church!

  I Enjoy the services and service times. But I did not realize after joining how much emphasis is put on what you need to be DOING. If your not doing your part then you don’t make the mark of being useful to the church.. I think that’s why there are more young people attending and not older ones. No one has compassion for the elderly because they can’t do the all things REQUIRED to be a member and be in good standing. I expressed my health issues and no sympathy. My heart hurts because I wanted to be a part of this church but it’s all about what they need from you. Small groups were to have the compassion, but all I heard was what are we doing to help everyone else in the community. But when I needed them there was no compassion.I guess it’s by works that we become a part of the church. If you can’t work and do your part then your not worthy. If you can’t keep up due to illness then your not living up to the agreement when you joined by being useful no matter what. After making my concerns known, it was said sorry you feel that way, with no compassion on where I am in life or the issues about my health. One day we will know the truth on, where our hearts are. I pray the Lord show me a different side or guide me to where I need to be. The truth is, it really hurts to not be accepted. And to not be shown compassion.

  Today 7/30/23 my wife and three children were turned down for being late. No where on the website states such "rules". Would have never in a million years believed you would be turned away from a church. Showing up should be enough you would think. Until an apology is had from the church staff involved we will be forced to take our family, faith, support, and donations elsewhere.

  I would be careful of this church. The several times I went they put a huge emphasis on DOING things, but it came across too pushy to me. I think some of the leaders have fallen for the outside world's lie that "the church is not doing enough." But you also can't MAKE ppl do things. That's the difference between a cult and church. Cult's require you to do things to be apart of their program, Church's can only inspire and pray for their members to grow in their walk. You can't make people work or guilt-trip ppl into working bc that will have a negative affect on the Christian. I don't think this church is a cult but it could turn that way very easily if they become too strict. I used to have a mentor growing up that was so close to God that her relationship with God alone made me WANT to do more, and it was also bc she took me under her wing and put quality time into me. So to me if u want ppl to "do more" then u have to spend more quality time with ppl, but still even then u can't make them do anything. Bc it won't even count to God anyway if u don't do it with the right heart intention.

  I have been attending Brazospoint for a couple of years. I enjoy the services at the Lake Jackson location. I do live in Angleton and I have been to the mid county location quiet a few times with my family and friends. I don't enjoy that location as much. My girlfriend is a member and actually served at the mid county location checking in the children . She was also in a small group with Brandy Booth. Both her attempts to get going with what she thought God was calling her to do ended. The checking in the children ended because she was very good at this but Chris Long had her train Leslie to be coordinator. Because my girlfriend and I are not married. The small group ended when Brandy Booth suggested she was no longer welcomed in the group because we have attended another church here in Angleton however she is still a member of Brazospoint.......the church that is for the unchurched people has let me down ....I love Gregg, Randy and all of the folks at Brazospoint but casting stones isn't what Jesus would do....

  I haven't bn yet but I've heard a lot of great things bout it! I'm most definitely attending starting this Sun thnx to my sweet neighbor who made me feel extremely welcome from day one. I'm new in this town so I'm grateful for her for this. I look forward to meeting all u good people out here..

  Everyone is very welcoming and laid back. No one is attacking, but are accepting. The staff helps out and volunteers greatfully especially with their servolution when serving around town. Amazing nondenominational church. My family.

  Dane doesn't have the annoiting for the Word that Greg has. Bad decision to make Dane the lead pastor. Won't ever go there again, nor recommend it.

  Friendly fellowship of future friends and family. Non denomination, a church for the unchurched. The services and resources are applicable to everyday life, a church that is continually growing.

  I went to the youth group. They split by junior high and high school. After that they have a group lesson before splitting off into small groups.
