On my way from Levelland to Hobbs to do a little gambling at the Native American casino, I must have missed my 214 turn towards Plains because I ended up here is little ol' Bledsoe. I say "little ol' Bledsoe" because the community is small, but the Holy Spirit was strong. Thank goodness it was! My travels have not been so kind to me and have become increasingly pricey. The reason I was heading to the the casino is to put my last $10,000 on 19 at the roulette table. "God will provide," I thought. I decided to stop at this church to make sure I had the full force of Jesus on my side before placing my big bet. When I pulled up to the location, there wasn't much in the way of a church. However, I felt something brewing in my spirit as I sat at the location. As I chewed on the West Texas dirt and brushed the dirt off my face, I could feel the summoning of the spirit towards something more bountiful than gambling house. It was so powerful I hit my knees, clasped my hands, and breathed in the dirt filled air. I could smell manure, a new way of life. I realized via divine intervention, going to the casino was a fool's errand. I had received word that I had another calling. I decided I'd purchase a few cows and learn how to harvest the earth. Bledsoe Baptist was instrumental in me finding a new path. I highly recommend this dashingly dusty area for the word of the Lord. I will follow the righteous path. Thank you, Bledsoe Baptist.
