My wife and I were invited to Basin Church in Odessa, Tx towards the end of 2022. We accepted the invitation to be moral support of a friend. To have pastor Joe and Sarah greet you as we walked in set the inviting tone for the environment and culture that Basin church has. Everyone we met was friendly and welcoming. What helped us choose Basin church as our new church home was pastor Joes sermon and how the Holy Spirit spoke to us. At the time we were facing a grieving season from what the prior years had brought on to us. His messages were about healing and restoration and not just physically but spiritually. Going on four years, we have witnessed the children’s section grow as well as the congregation. Basin church has remained true to the mission that they have set which is bringing hope and wholeness to the Permian Basin through Gods word.
