I’m working in the area so I came as a stranger to be fellowship among others of faith. Never got so much ignore at any church I’ve been to. Got there early before folks began to so up and parked in the lot. Guy Walker pulled up to my pick up when he drove in and warmly greeted me. That’s a good sign I thought and hurried in once people started arriving. Made my way down the hall to find the men’s room passing several people in my progress. No one even acknowledged me. I passed two men exchanging pleasantries - they both turned their backs on me to keep from having to acknowledge my presence. Once I entered the sanctuary I sat there for thirty minutes waiting for the service to start. During that time many people filed in. They greeted one another warmly. Conversations were going on. Only one woman greeted me, the stranger. Everyone else acted like I wasn’t even there. I’m not leaving this message to tell anyone that they’re bad Christians but to ask these members what the Spirit might say to the Body of Christ here. I bless you. I will mention you in my prayers. That you might hear anew Jesus’s words ‘I was a stranger and you took me not in’.
