I went here for 6 years as a kid and for the longest I thought the hurricanes took the camp out. I have a little girl bow id love to enroll her. This camp marked my childhood and i made great friends along the way.

I'm sure the camp is a fun experience for the youth, but this review isn't about that. In fact, this isn't necessarily about the camp, but the river crossing leading to the camp and the adult individuals that have repeatedly used very un-Christian intimidation tactics in an attempt to discourage people from using the bridge to load/unload kayaks from the Medina River. In Texas it is perfectly legal to access a waterway from a public right-of-way. We have never used this area for swimming and recreating, but instead we use it for removing boats or launching boats into the river. This activity usually takes less than 30 minutes, but during this time (on separate occasions) we have been verbally harassed, nearly hit by vehicles speeding across the bridge while harassing us, and have had tires slashed. If you're going to use this area to access the Medina (if/when water levels return to normal), be quick about it and leave vehicles on the west side of Hwy 16 in the right-of-way.

Wow wow wow is all I have to say. Camp made me a whole new person I feel so different now. This was my second year going and it was way better than the first. I cried so hard when I left all these people I met were awesome. I cried so much on the way home and I'll never forget this experience ever!! I love every single one of y'all in my family including Lauren Kim. See ya next year!!!

Love this place and it's people. Such a special place. Our church youth group goes each year. An adult group also had a retreat here. They are extremely responsive to any needs you have.

I loved every minute of it! Learned so much in just a week and made lots of friends. The dress code is understandable. 10/10 would definitely go again!
