We love the youth and Kids programs at AUMC. This is what brought us to the church. Some special Friends invited our children to participate in some Youth and Kids activities and we joined them for church. We knew we were home.

We have visited this church several times while visiting our son, daughter-in-law and 2 grandchildren. It is so inviting. Great for the young people. All seem to be involved and smiling. We had an opportunity to volunteer last November handing out prepared Thanksgiving meals to the needy. It was a structured, fun event. My husband and I enjoyed it so much. As Catholics who live in the Knoxville, TN area, we have always felt welcome. Both of our grandchildren are involved with the youth groups. Our son and his wife are enjoying their church family.

I have attended Argyle United Methodist for most of the last 19 years and it is incredible experience. I hope I am here to greet you with a warm smile and genuine kindness that I feel from much of the congregation. This church truly stands out for the remarkable sense of community and love. What continues to strike me the most about this congregation is their authenticity and love for one another. They genuinely care about each other's well-being and go above and beyond to support and uplift one another. Whether it is through heartfelt conversations, acts of service, or simply lending a listening ear, the sense of community and compassion is awesome. It is evident that this church is more than just a place of worship; it's a family.

We love our church, it has been consistently welcoming and inclusive. Have been members since 2005. Both our girls have loved the nursery, children’s programs and youth programming! Our adult group is so supportive. Come join us. :)

I was not a regular church goer from around 14 to 40 but always a believer and cherished my memories of church from childhood and I knew I wanted my son to have the same if not better experiences than I had. After COVID, it was heavy on my heart to find our church family. I told my husband we'd try 5 or 6 churches and make a decision. We ended up trying just one! It was our home from day one. The amazing music, the fabulous children's program, the friendly people and the clear uncomplicated message... We found our place and I hope your family finds yours and just maybe this is it! We sure do like it.

We have been members of AUMC for 7 years and have loved being apart of this church. It is a very welcoming and an accepting environment. We love the children's programs for our small children and can't wait to see how the church grows over the next few years.

So much to say... Inclusive. Intergenerational. Dynamic worship. Bible-based teaching that invites you to think, pray, grow and even laugh. The most inspiring and approachable staff, leadership who serve in response to God's love, and congregation members who are the family we choose after our family moved into the area only a few years ago. Impactful mission and community service for 130 years (as of 2024) ... and counting!
