My family was there at Anchor because my Uncle (Robert B.) was a member up until the day he passed away. We held his service at Anchor and their staff, Pastor, and congregation were very welcoming and supportive. The words 'church family' is very evident within this church. The church from what I understand went under a massive upgrade and it shows. The Sanctuary is absolutely gorgeous along with the rest of the church. If I am ever back in the area, I will definitely make an effort to return to Anchor and attend services. Thank you for making my family feel welcome and thank you for being there for my Uncle and supporting his needs.

Went with a friend, Wow, talk about Friendly people, the friendliest people. Made us feel warm and welcomed. Sat thru Bible Study Pastors wife was Amazing. I liked the Positive Feel of Everyone. Thank You Jesus for A House Full of Gold Nuggets!🌅😊🌅 …

My family and I have attended Open Door Baptist Church for more than 10 years, I am immensely grateful for our Pastors, caring and loving men of God. I've had 2 daughters graduate from the Christian academy and 2 more still attending, I thank God for bringing us to Open Door, you have to be there to know, what amazing loving folks, attend this church.

My church home, the place I go for spiritual refreshment 3 times a week, plus soulwinning on my weekends off. Very home-y, very friendly, small, but powerful. If you haven't visited and are thinking of coming. Dont hesitate to come in. We'd love to have you.

I was a member of Open Door in the late sixties early seventies when this church was being built, Pastor Matthews did a great job with his pastoral duties and a great friend of my parents . My dad was music director my mom played the piano, we have nothing but great memories of Open Door that I will never forget . We came by about two years ago and visited with Bro Matthews and still the same Godly man as back then , sure miss him and his family and a lot of the old members of Open Door . Praying that God will continue his work through the members of Open Door Baptist Church, God Bless, former member Jimmy Lemmon

This church is filled with Hippocrites. Serpents of Satan, just waiting to strike with judgment and condemnation. This is not a true house of God. There is no blessing on this place. There is digression , and discourse within the members and the authorities of this place. Beware to anyone looking for a church to worship. This is not that place for you. Jesus sat and ate with the sinners. You who are able to admit that you are a sinner and choose to hear the word of the one true living God do not go to this place, you will not find it there. They do not understand that sin is just that , no matter how it is committed it is sin. I have prayed for this church and if the body of Christ is the church then this is not where you find true Christians. I don't give it one star but it wont let me post without

We enjoy visiting this church every time we come to Mesquite. We are always warmly greeted. The Biblical teaching and preaching is a significant part of why this is a great place to bring our family.

this church is a Bible believing church with kind and loving Pastors who preach the truth from the Word of God. I Love this place and the people there! So blessed to call it my spiritual home where I can grow spiritually.

I don't like that they came to my house uninvited and left religious propaganda on my front door. We have a no soliciting sign on our front door that they feel that they are entitled to ignore. My advice is live your faith but don't push it on people.
