I joined Oct 2024 and have loved this church. They love on everyone that comes in the door, no judgements, pure Godly spirit.

Fantastic Bible teaching church. Holding true to Jesus being the head of the church, scripture, and the call to love and share the gospel with thy neighbor. The most loving and welcoming congregations I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Come join us one Sunday and you will see why my young family have become members. God bless

IMPORTANT: This congregation also kindly hosts Oak Stone Christian Church, which meets at this facility on Saturdays. It is the Oak Stone church service that I attended. The messages and music were Christ-honoring and the fellowship over food afterwards welcoming and engaging. I am grateful to all who had a hand in getting me here and welcoming me.

Visited today with my 5yr old daughter. What a wonderful place to worship and learn or if you're like me: revisit the Word of God and Christ our King. The morning class with pastor Brian, was a great lesson on the book of Exodus, the lineage, and role of Aaron and Moses God had planned and commanded. My daughter enjoyed the Kindergarten Sunday School and made some new friends. The Choir and band are great. Can't wait to visit again!

I love AHBC & so glad we found this friendly, caring church with wonderful people. Classes take turns hosting Wednesday night supper - some cook & some bring desserts. Dinner & fellowship with lots of conversations - sharing with each other about regular every day stuff, jokes, family updates & concerns. If you arrive for dinner on time, you get a full hour of just a nice homestyle meal & visiting. It really is a family dinner. After dinner, we get a full hour of Bible study with Pastor Brian. He welcomes interaction - & sometimes probably regrets it. We get to be involved. He tells great stories & likes to draw on the white board - we can usually tell what he is drawing or find cool slides that we can usually tell what he was going for. It is just a good time & we learn so much from not only the Pastor but each other. If you don't like people or think church shouldn't be where you can join in & enjoy the time together, this is not the place to come...or maybe it is, you just hadn't had it done right before. They are getting ready to break for the summer on Wednesday evenings & go to Life Groups around town for the summer. I'm glad we came to check it out! We'd love to have you! Come check us out on a Sunday morning. You'll see the same people there on Sunday mornings. Maybe you want to sing in a choir & ready to come back after Covid to a local church. Have you ever thought, I wish there was some place I could go to hear a Hand Bell Choir? or - I wish I could learn to play the hand bells. We are expanding the Hand Bell Choir. They play a few times a year - especially on or near holidays. The ringing of the bells for Easter Sunday was really a treat for everyone. Hallelujah Chorus was played & even though I had heard it go from a noise when we first started in the rehearsal room to a song everyone recognizes filling the sanctuary with the warm rich tones...it made my heart swell & brought tears to my eyes. We enjoyed bringing that glorious music to the people of the church but we were really playing for an Audience of ONE! It was really special. It is almost a lost art. Thank God for our Director Cherie who resurrected it first with Bell Chimes & then found a 2 octave set of REAL handbells when she was packing up at her previous church & church school they had before she & John moved to Texas. We were so excited to have REAL BELLS! The rich tones & resonation that fills the church. Oh, and I haven't even started on the musicians that are there every Sunday. We have Dr Dave on the grand piano, welcoming you in song as you arrive, Bob on the keyboard, George on the electric guitar, John on the drums! & Collin pulling it all together. You have to experience it! Come to play music, come to sing, come to listen, come to join in the worship...but most of all - come hear about Jesus! He loves the music, He loves the teaching, He even loves the announcements! Most of all Jesus Loves Me, this I know for The Bible tells me so. Come to meet my Jesus!

This church is awesome! Paster Byron is very passionate and down to earth. People are very friendly at this church and you can really feel how genuine everyone is. Allen Heights is as diverse as it gets with lots of friendly people from all races, cultures, and backgrounds. It is smaller than a lot of churches so you can really connect with people and get to know one another quickly unlike most mega churches where you are just another face. My family and I love this church!
