Went for the Father's Day service at the behest of my daughter-in-law, as it's her church. Not my 1st time there. I may not understand most of what's said there, mainly bc I don't know a lick of Spanish except a few words... like Si! 😁 Nevertheless, having said that, they do have these little receiver boxes w earplugs, thru which someone in a booth in back attempts to translate what the pastor is saying. It's a challenge bc trying to keep an ear for your native language & then switching gears to put those words into another language, well, the young man did a fine job keeping up w his father's sermon. 🤗 However, the love of Christ is very very evident there. As the the song goes, "Love in any language, fluently spoken here." And that's all that matters to my beloved wife & I. It doesn't matter the size of your church, or how many programs or this or that. As Paul wrote, "... if I have not love, then I'm nothing more than a clanging cymbal!" We will be returning this coming Sunday for my wonderful daughter-in-law's baptism. Can't wait! God bless you all.
