Adams Chapel is a very quaint country church dating back to the eighteen seventies. Adams Chapel consists of one room, with a very high ceiling, and every thing is solid white, with the exception of the pews. The pews are perfect for the setting. Beautifully curved, and an awesome wood, delicately touched with brown. My wife and I were present at Adams Chapel for a wedding. Adams Chapel totally fits it's country heritage. The very first pastor was a member of the Cumberland Presbytarian Church. While serving as pastor, he passed on, and is buried in the cemetery next to the Church. The grounds and cemetery were donated by a Confederate Col. Following the civil war. The Church and grounds are fascinating, and a fun place to visit. Adams Chapel gives one a real feeling of Holiness, and you are only a touch away from history and the Lord Jesus. There is also a historical market telling the history.
