I grew up always going to Abilene to see family. I could never find a good independent Bible believing baptist church that was KJV only. So happy to have found one! The people were friendly! My whole family genuinely wished the church was in ABQ, NM so we could attend regularly. Great preaching, good music, clean and friendly!

I was staying at a hotel in Abilene and drove all the way across town to come to this church. I was glad I did! Friendly and caring people. Young Pastor but a very good preacher who preaches the gospel. Definitely a military influence with the Air Force Base nearby. If I lived in Abilene, I would come here regularly.

Pastor Barney preaches according to God's word out of the King James Bible & the wonderful old hymns are sung at every service. The people are very friendly, there's a feeling of family each & everytime you visit & they really want you to become part of the family not just be a number or to fill the pew.

Abilene Baptist Church is a KJV Bible believing, God honoring, old fashioned hymn singing, family oriented church with very loving and friendly people. The Pastor preaches the true WORD OF GOD 🙏. Each and every service is to glorify God. If you're looking for a church home where you and your family can grow in the Lord 🙌, you'll find it here. EVERYONE is,welcomed, loved and treated like family. GOD is definitely in THIS CHURCH.
