    Great church! My mother grew up at Woodward, so I have been in and out of there all of my life. I currently attend on Wednesdays to hear Pastor Chris Thomas (a seminary professor from Lee University) who has been teaching through the book of John. They teach the Bible and worship is pentacostal. They have two services on Sunday morning...930 and 1045. Wed night meets at 7 with activities for all ages.

    Love these people and the space is perfect for so many things. We have our fall fundraising banquet there and they are so easy to work with. Definitely a great bunch of people!!

    Probably one of the absolute best churches in Athens, TN, maybe even all the southeast Tennessee the congregation of this church is amazing and you never feel unwelcome and the Lords power is always present here

    Best church in the world with the best pastor and wife in the world. I have been a member of this church for 26 years and I promsie yku every time you come you will feel the power of God so strong in this church. The most loving people in the world.

    This is one of the best churches I've been to the people are extremely nice the worship is great preaching is great they have a excellent youth group 10/10 highly recommend this church to anyone who is looking for a excellent pentecostal church

    I VISITED WOODWARD AVENUE FOR A SPECIAL FUND RAISING FOR MY GRANDAUGHTER'S SCHOOL CLA CHRISY LEGACY! ALL OF THE CLASSES PERFORMED FOR US! THEIR MUSIC TEACHER DID AN OUTSTANDING JOB ALSO! THE DINNER WAS DELICIOUS, A A WONDERFUL SALAD CAME FIRST, FOLLOWED BY HAM SLICES WITH A SWEET GLAZE, MASHED POTATOES, SEASOONED GREEN BEANS AND A ROLL PLUS CHOCOLATE CAKE. IT WAS A WONDERFUL NIGHT! WOODWARD LET CLA USE THEIR MAIN BUILDING! HATS OFF TO WOODWARD! THANK YOU TO EVERYONE FOR A GREAT EVENING!
