This is my childhood church. They are very supportive and everyone here has huge hearts and are willing to open there hearts to anyone. They do not judge any walks of life, as I am pregnant out of wedlock, have tattoos and purple hair, as well as have a background. They still support me as there own. Now this is a small town church with few attendances, about 60 or so on average, but are always welcoming anyone who is just passing through or anyone looking for a new family. Family is just exactly how you will be treated too. There is Sunday school for the little ones as well as a little morning get together before church for the older ones too. The pre church get togethers for the little ones I believe have snacks as well as stories about God for the children to understand and songs for them to sing as well as crafts that goes along with each lesson. Well there is plenty more positivity I could share about this church but you should just stop by on a sunday 9-10 for the morning gatherings and 10-12 for the sermon.

I am usually in the Wears Valley Area 4 times a year staying about 2 weeks. We always attend services at Wears Valley UMC and would not think of missing an opportunity to worship there. The people are warm, Pastor Kenny (Tucker) is a caring, wonderful man of God. If you are in the area, please take the time wo worship at Wears Valley UMC.
