I grew up in the UMC in Waverly. Altgough i do not attend church regularly I have always claimed to be a Methodist. My parents have always attend until health prevented their attendance the last year or so. Only one couple from the congregation has visited them. The preacher, who I should administer to the congregation visited them for the first time last week. This lackmof compassion has made me rethink how I view the Methodist church and the congregation of this church.

These fine people definitely understand the meaning of community!! Their facilities are very nice and they have them open for the community to use for a large variety of functions. Great job loving on people the way Jesus would!

I love this church. I was not raised in church, I came in as an adult knowing nothing. They were very warm and nonjudgmental and welcoming. Now I call them all family.
