I found at Unity of Nashville the primary focus is to help people grow spiritually. They offer universal spiritual principles in practical and inspiring ways. I find their teachings really help me live a healthy, prosperous and meaningful life. They help me have a stronger connection to God every day, and that connection nourishes my Spirit. I feel happier and more satisfied with my life since I began attending. Each week they share universal truths supported with scripture or sacred text and offer practical ways to immediately begin to live them. I go out to the parking lot after the service and feel enriched. I feel happy that I got up and came to church. I feel spiritually equipped to meet my life in more powerful and profound ways. For me, coming to Unity was like “coming home.” I never knew there was a faith tradition that believed what I have believed all my life. I have believed in a God of goodness and in the sacred worth in all people since I was a very young child. To find a spiritual community that supports this has been wonderful. I find all that’s offered here inspiring and refreshing. I’m proud to be a part of a faith tradition that believes God is good and honors that goodness in all people everywhere.

I have been going to Unity of Nashville for over 12 years. Each Sunday I am amazed at how the lessons continue to apply to my life and inspire me on my spiritual journey. God is good. I look forward to the Sunday service and thankful we have a place like this in Nashville, TN. The service is excellent, blending a solid message with scripture, heartfelt music, community prayer and meditation. The grounds & church facility are beautiful and peaceful. There are plenty of opportunities to volunteer and meet people who are interesting and provide sincere friendships. I love the mission of Unity - Build Faith, Offer Hope, Live Love. The responsibility belongs to each of us - We have to be the change we want to see in the world. Reviews are one thing, but I recommend you experience the church for yourself. Blessings to each of you. "i give thanks to you, O Lord my god, with my whole heart.-Psalm 86:12

An incredible spiritual experience. My life has been touched and improved in ways I couldn't have imagined just 4 short years ago. If you're looking for a community of like minded people, who welcome all and embrace life's richest blessings, then look no further. Say hi when you see me!

Friendly church. I would call it mildly Christian with a heavy dose of tolerance towards every other faith, both Eastern and Western. If you prefer Southern Baptist, or the average non-denom Mega-church, you won't like this. If you like a church that focuses on spiritual principles, tolerance, and is LGBT friendly, but also cis, straight friendly, this is good for that.

I found Unity of Nashville (then named First Church Unity) about 9 years ago and it an amazing spiritual center. The messages about the goodness of God, the Christ spirit that we all enjoy and the fundamental purity of humanity are wonderful and uplifting. I have had the greatest fellowship experience with the people I have met at Unity. My wife and I are members and supporters. I encourage everyone who is seeking a loving relationship with God and people to come and visit Unity of Nashville.

this is a nice building it has a great fellowship hall and lots of rooms for the kids and activities. The sanctuary itself did not feel a lot like a church but it's a beautiful space

This is a great church! Truly a place where everyone is accepted, respected and valued. The music talent displayed every week is more than representative of the talent here in the Music City.

It's one of the few churches where I feel like part of the family. John is a breath of fresh air. In a time when everyone seems divided, this church really does bring everyone together. I love it here

The conduct of this minister and church board has been questioned by many. In July 2010 they held a terrifying congregational meeting to intimidate members who had procedurally called for a vote to fire the minister and remove the board. They even bodily removed one family from the sanctuary rather than let them speak. Minister and board have maintained control but possibly a hundred or more have left since that meeting and many more were deeply hurt by things said in the meeting by the minister and on behalf of the board. I am a church member who conducted a Governance Review for the Bylaws Committee. The minister and board refused to answer any questions of the review or be held accountable for their conduct. The UNITY denomination has been asked to intervene but remains unresponsive to member requests. We pray for healing that this 95 year old congregation may someday again be strong and led with integrity. There is no hate here (explanation of 1 star), only love and the hope that they might manage the church by the UNITY principles taught there.
