This church is a Christ centered, Bible preaching, multi-generational church. The Sunday schools are great for developing fellowship and community. We would have stayed at this church for a good long time, but left due to work transition in another state. When we come back to visit Nashville, we are definitely going to be joining them for Sunday service.

Love our pastor and our dedicated ministry staff. Love the dedicated and caring volunteers who greet everyone and help visitors get acquainted. There is a genuine desire to learn more about God through deep study of His word. Sunday school classes are an extension of the teaching from the pulpit in morning worship. Tulip Grove is a multi-generational, loving, and caring church, full of imperfect people, seeking to share God’s love with other imperfect people.

Wonderful church. Strong Bible teaching pastor. A most dedicated music director and the best Sunday school leaders we’ve ever had. Was a member for about 9 years before we moved from the area.

I have to edit my original post. The church has been going through a tough stretch ending in 2018 and continuing in 2019. They will be a strong church again in the future. There is too much turmoil going on right now. The direction of the theology of the church has changed. It is going towards a Reformed Theology. It is not an easy subject to comprehend, but a lot of it is based in Calvinism. The Sunday School classes are very good. Everyone is so warm and inviting, you feel at home whenever you first go there.

Our have been members of Tulip Grove for the past 27 years. In those years, we've witnessed the growth in our church but more importantly the growth in our personal relationship with Christ. At Tulip Grove you will receive sound biblical teaching directly from God's Word. Our church tag line says it all....Learn the Gospel, Love the Gospel, Live the Gospel.

I am a member of Tulip Grove Baptist Church for three reasons: the preaching, the worship music and the overall music program, and the warm and friendly fellowship of the congregation. Senior Pastor Gerald Bontrager has a passion for the Word of God and preaches the Gospel of Christ from an inspired, sound theological and doctrinal perspective. Worship Leader Phil Lundy loves to lead us in heartfelt worship through the biblically correct, musically excellent hymns, anthems and praise songs that are always honoring to our Lord. The congregation is a diverse, friendly and loving assembly of Christians who show their love for the Lord in the way the church supports mission work and other outreach programs in the community. There are wonderful Bible Study classes to be involved with on Sunday Morning and throughout the week. TGBC is a great place, both to plug in to be involved and to be fed spiritually and to grow as we serve our Lord and strive to reach the lost! There’s a place for you. Join us!

Love Tulip Grove Baptist Church! Biblically centered, family oriented, mission focused are a just few perfect examples. All 3 of my girls have attended here and now my granddaughter attends. The Children’s and youth ministry is fantastic. I would (and have) recommended TGBC to many people

Phil Lundy worship pastor Pastor Gerald senior pastor Linda Sharp Preschool director Absolutely the most disrespectful experience I've ever had with a church. Originally only dealing with the preschool, but having to involve the senior pastor and the worship pastor of the church as well. My wife and I have never been treated and disrespected by anyone like this, especially from a church. The director of the preschool ( Linda Sharp), the worship pastor and senior pastor were all so rude. Hearing how they talked to my wife about picking up our daughter 5 min early was so uncalled for. Phil Lundy the worship pastor might have been the worst of them all by the way he spoke to me and my wife in the church office, then shutting the door in my face. No church should ever treat people like they did to my family. You you need to start practicing what you preach.

My family and I have gone to church here for over 10 years! As a transplant to Music City, we needed community that made us feel at home. We not only got that, but also solid gospel-centered teaching that we hungered for.

Fantastic church. PastorGerald has more guts than any other pastor I've ever seen. He preaches The Word, nothing more, nothing less. If you want a God-fearing, God-praising, Christ-Affirming, Authentic, Redeemed, This Is How To Handle Life Church, come on down.

I'm have grown so much in my faith since coming to Tulip Grove Baptist Church. The sermons and Bible Studies have taught me things I never knew or understood before. My thinking has stretched and my hunger for the Word and the Lord have increased dramatically. I'm never apprehensive about inviting guests to come and I am never apologizing or worried about what they might think.

TGBC is a great multi-generational church with programs for all ages and emphasis on missional living. We have been members for 30+ years and raised 3 boys at this church who are still active Christians as young adults as a result of the strong biblical foundation nurtured by TGBC.

My review is specifically on the Mother's Day Out program. We went two days and I had to pull my daughter out, because they wouldn't let me pick her up five minutes early in order to get her brother from school on time. The Director Linda was extremely unprofessional and did not try to work with me on this issue at all even though this is not a written policy in the handbook. Nobody can tell a parent they can't have their child. They had minimal covid precautions in place and the teacher even put my daughter on someone else's nap mat the first day. This normally would not be a big deal if it wasn't for covid and RSV going around. I tried to speak with the Director's supervisor who proceeded to back up a non policy and treat me as though she was speaking to a child. The senior pastor then called me and told me how dissapointing it can be to have a child with special needs(her brother who I needed to pick up early at school to get to speech therapy) which is why I had to pick her up early. My son and I both went there and I felt ok with sending my daughter. Come to find out everyone that taught while my son was there left due to this Director being difficult to work with. I would not recommend this MDO to anyone.
