The River is one of the best churches I’ve ever been to! I’ve followed them online and it’s so much better in person… The worship is powerful, Pastor Todd is very Spirit-led, and there’s also a lot of nice people here! So glad I came today on my drive through Tennessee!

Moved to the area and knew 2 people, our wonderful realtor and his wife. The River is an amazing home away from home and the connection with other believers is a blessing. The church equips believers and blesses the socks off the members and the community. There's something going on usually 7 days a week. The Pastoral staff is phenomenal. The 3000 mile move was worth it just for this.

Make the effort to attend a service here as you will feel the tangible presence of the Spirit of God. I've seen notable miracles occur here and experienced powerful moves of God myself as the Pastors welcome the Lord to do His work amongst the people. Those that are tired of dead religion need to come here and truly experience a real move of God in their lives! Yes, He cares about you and so do the Pastors at the River!

My husband and I have been actively involved for more than two years. The Pastors and congregation are FULL of the love of God. We immediately felt like family! God is pouring out His Spirit, and people are being touched by His presence, experiencing His love, receiving healing and wholeness! Many people are saved each week through services and outreaches. The Smoky Mountain Bible College is training up men and women to fulfill the call of God on their lives. We are so blessed to have found this church!

Love this church! Known Pastor Todd and Katie 16 years they have never wavered in the things of god! I’m so thankful for them being called to this area! I was living here before they moved here and was really excited to make RTC my church home! If you’re looking for a spirit filled church come join us! It’s amazing what god is doing!

We highly recommend The River of Tri-Cities Church. We actually moved from Texas to TN to call RTC our home. We love all the River Churches, but it’s great to be planted in the house of God. Not only does this Church and all the Pastors preach the unwavering truth of God’s Word, but the power of the Holy Spirit moves mightily here. Whether this is a place where you can serve and call home, or maybe get trained up for the call of God and be launched out, everything you need to succeed as a child of God is evident and freely available for anyone willing to yield their life to the work of the Holy Spirit. Not only has the Lord completely transformed our lives and blessed us beyond anything we could ever imagine, our kids love being a part of the RTC church family, and we get the privilege of seeing our other family members one by one coming to the Lord and making Jesus the Lord and Savior of their lives. If God does this for us, we know he will do it for you too. Please come visit RTC, you’ll never be the same again!

I moved back to Johnson City after being away since 2008 specifically to go to this church! Our Pastors preach and stand for the truth of the word of God uncompromisingly. You can feel and experience the power and presence of God at every service. The congregation is empowered to go out of the four walls of the church and preach the gospel! This church is on Fire! I’m so Thankful for the River Of Tri-Cities!

We went to the Easter Egg hunt today. Plenty of advertising like they always do. We have loved all our past experiences but today was different. The pastor was so rude. He made sure to announce several times that kids who did not come to church do not get prizes. Not only did he say it once but then again after they finished hunting eggs. He continued to announce over the microphone how they weren't sorry about it either. Not sorry the kids who couldn't come to the church service weren't getting prizes cause they aren't doing this just to give away stuff for free. I would understand if it was adults but children do not drive or control where there can or cannot go. It's not the childrens fault if they couldn't make it to church service. My family isn't looking for free stuff just trying to enjoy a Easter egg hunt with the kids and they made the kids feel awful. It was definitely not about the kids but a promotion for the church. Guess you have to give offering to be able to hunt for Easter eggs. Not a church I ever want to be a part of or involved in. It's always about the kids. Definitely not this year. The pastor announced it all and definitely showed how rude he is. We just don't feel like it had to be announced so much and so rudly like he was purposely trying to hurt feelings. These are children, not a good way to grow the church, that's for sure.

Such an amazing church with such amazing people, helping the community, winning souls, and populating the kingdom of God. Where every service the Holy Spirit moves, with healing miracles, and the word of job. I thank the Lord for Pastor Todd and Katie Holmes, for obeying God and coming to JC. If you desire change, if you desire healing, and or if you desire a touch from God, come visit us and you will never be the same.
