Our family has been so blessed by The Rising Church. We have been members since the very beginning, and it has been incredible to watch and be part of the journey. We believe in Pastor David and have followed him through every transition and season of Reach, Rise, and Send. His leadership and heart for God are truly inspiring. This church is filled with genuine followers of Christ. The congregation includes people of all ages, and everyone is truly welcome. Thank you for being such a huge part of my faith journey. Our family is so grateful to call The Rising Church home!!!!!!

Amazing church! I’ve been attending for about a year since I moved to Nashville. Everything is so Christ centered and driven. Pastor David is authentic and truly grounded in God’s word with everything he does. The community is excellent and very welcoming. The young adult groups are amazing and I’ve found some of my best friends there. There are many opportunities to serve and volunteer as well! The way everything is established and set up is honest and truthful, they don’t shy away from the hard to talk about topics which I love. As I’ve said, everything is focused and centered on Christ, God’s word, and His inerrant teachings!!

I have attended The Rising since it started and can tell you this is a Bible believing, Spirit-filled, Christ-loving church committed to the teachings of Jesus. Whether you have been raised in church all your life, are new to faith, want to see what this Jesus thing is about, looking for a church family, feel lost, or are running form something, please come visit. The people are friendly and welcoming. No judging, just Jesus.

A phenomenal church. The congregation feels like a family and is so loving. The preaching is always amazing and Biblically sound. The worship always sets the heart posture of the services. I love these people and what they’re doing for God. I highly recommend this church.

Wonderful congregation with people from all walks of life. Pastor David Layne speaks biblical truth and equips us all with the tools, knowledge, and inspiration to live it out in our daily lives. Growing children’s and youth ministries with kids that love Jesus!

Absolutely incredible church! We have been members for two years now and we love our church so much. It’s so conveniently located and easy to get to from any part of town. The staff and community are the best! If you are looking for a great church to join you need not look at further!

A mix of old school worship and present day preaching. Pastor David brings a fresh perspective on scripture using just the scripture as he goes through the Bible book by book verse by verse. If you’re lucky enough to catch a sermon from Mr. Jonathan on one of the off weeks. You might just shed and share a tear or two with him. (It does get a little dusty from time to time. 🥲) A place for the community, the lost and the ones that don’t have it all together. 🙏 Jesus is King, scripture is infallible and prayer is essential. What more could you need?
