  Well, let's see. What can I say about the Harbor? I've been in nearly every church in Campbell county at one time or another over the last 50 years. Pastor James is anointed and knowledgeable in Scripture (as any good pastor should be). Both he and his trusted staff have not only preached the gospel, but have presented it in a way that has disrupted business and politics in the region, just like Paul and Silas, uncompromised. Although no one has been arrested (yet) the harbor has made its way into the local jail to minister, share the gospel and develop relationships with inmates, both men and women that continue even after incarceration. The harbor is not the average traditional Church. They reach out into the community at large to meet needs, not just in the congregation. On many occasions they have provided clothing and meals to those in situations where others wouldn't help. Those that I know that attend regularly are a kind and caring people. There are men's groups, women's groups and couples groups that you can get together with for support, fellowship and ministry. It may not be what you were raised on and it may not be what you're used to, but the harbor is a church that is alive, living and breathing the gospel. The only bad thing that I could say is, I'm not there enough. It may not be your cup of tea, but then again you've got to remember, not everybody likes tea. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ X 10

  Living here 27 years, I've been to several local churches. After walking into The Harbor almost 5 years ago ~ I've found my home church. I LOVE The Harbor. Pastor James & Pastor Rebekah are awesome ! They speak so I can understand the bible teaching better. I absolutely love the Harbor it will be my forever home church. The people that come are from all different walks of life ~~ We are a family there ! The Harbor Family. We'd love to see you , and you can say hi to Faith :-)

  Amazing place. I attended for a few months (I stopped after a really bad depressive episode) and everyone was so nice and understanding. I even met a few friends. Their teen youth group is amazing (i am a teen). Minus one star due to how loud it is, since the music is very blasted and it triggers my already bad developmental delays, but overall an amazing place to attend! They helped me through my dads death and my mom’s drug addiction, too. PS: the holy spirt really works magic in here, I’ve seen conga lines form during worship lol!!!

  You can feel the love for one another in this church. My 1st day there i was made to feel welcomed. They did not overwhelm me at all. If I had to step out it was never an issue. I could make this list very very long. I love and respect The Harbor.

  Best church ever!!! I first came back in August of 2014. I said this church wasn't for me, bc I was still running from God. I bounced around to several different churches until I just stopped going completely. I came back Feb 4th of 2018, and have attended faithfully ever since. I found freedom here, and fell into full surrender to God. Everyone here truly feels like family. I'm so glad I have made this house of God my home!

  BEST CHURCH EVER!!! I have been coming here off and on since August of 2014. Faithfully, since February of 2018. It is not your traditional church of religion and rules, but I promise you it is HOLY spirit led and filled. God's love radiates here, and that very love is where I found freedom. I have been to many churches since the age of 10, but none like The Harbor. From the parking lot, to the lobby, till you find a seat there is someone more than happy to greet and serve you, with the intent of showing true compassion and love as Jesus would have. The goal there is for hurting, broken people to know and find the hope we have found in Jesus. When you come you are our honored guest, and when you leave, you become family, and they want you to feel right at home! There are connect groups of all sorts to stay connected in activities with other believers, maintaining the fact WE ARE BETTER TOGETHER. EVERY SUNDAY TRULY IS THE BEST SUNDAY EVER!!! ❤️ The Harbor has a "plan your visit" on their web cite so you know what to expect before you arrive, and we love our first time guests at the connect center, as it blesses our hearts to see God's kingdom grow! Come check them out it might lead you to the best descion you will ever make!

  Words cannot express the gratitude that I have for this church. I went through my whole life never feeling like I fit in anywhere and the second I walk into the Harbor I feel like I’m home and surrounded with family. I have never been closer to God than I am now and being surrounded by believers that love and support me has made my walk with God stronger. I am so thankful to have such an amazing church to raise my children in. I am a better mother and a better person because of the Harbor. Pastor James is such an amazing person and absolutely hilarious. He has such a talent for keeping service interesting while also sticking to the word. I am seven months sober and I could have never made it to where I am today without the Harbor and Hope Center Recovery. This is a church that anyone can come to truly as they are. If you are looking for a church I highly recommend the Harbor.

  Store is rather dark and dreary. Most of their inventory is overpriced out of style clothes.

  I've been coming to the harbor for about 5 years and its great i couldnt even ask for anything better in a church. I feel so at home and blessed to be there each and every Sunday! The kids harbor is also so amazing for children my 6 year old is absolutely crazy for Jesus and lve never witnessed children his age being this eager to learn and go to church for that matter it really blesses my heart!! I couldn't be more thankful and blessed to have this church in our lives!
