The people are genuinely friendly and kind. Pastor Tony is well versed and teaches verse by verse precept by precept. Applies bible teaching to current events and In our lives and way of life. The congregation is on the smaller side. There is a weekly women's, men's and youth study. If your looking for spiritual community, this is it! Church is Sundays at 10:30 am but live stream is available. There is also direct conversation (q&a) after the Sunday study. Come as you are, you won't regret it. I love it!

My husband and I have been attending The Dwelling Place for almost a year now and so thankful God led us there! After going to a very large church in town for many years we were desiring a place where we could truly connect. We have found that close community at The Dwelling Place and it makes all the difference! Pastor Tony is a very relational pastor and truly wants to do life with his community! Come join us on Sundays!

Authentic. That’s what this place is! In a world full of just people checking boxes and coming and going this Church is the true meaning of community and walks life with people! This place if full of people who are not perfect but willing to love and support you through God’s love! The sermons are chapter by chapter and the small setting makes it feel more like family! Coming here you won’t get lost or be another number you are part of a family and will have support!

If you've been seeking a community of people who love authentically, are others minded, and boldly pursue God without abandon, you just found it! The Dwelling Place isn't just another church (because, let's face it, Maryville has A LOT of those) it's a place where "doing life together" goes way beyond a neat Facebook banner. We *actually* do life together. There isn't a need in the church that isn't met, a prayer that isn't said, and a hug that isn't given. We do church the way Jesus intended: intentionally. This isn't the place to come if you're looking to warm a seat on a Sunday morning and stack up your "Jesus Points". Or if you're looking to put a checkmark on your Christian to-do list. This is the place to come as you are, but not stay as you are. We grow together, encourage one another, challenge each other, and at the end of the day we chase God, you guessed it...together! I can honestly say I've never been a part of a church where I felt more at home and more loved. I believe God is doing a good work here and it's evident by the fruit being produced.
