This church was started in a tent in 1941, finally the 2 Summey sisters deeded the land where the tent set and they built the community built the church in 1943, while not the best of meteral was available during war time ,a lot of green timber and short cuts were used to get the roof up,It was a small church with about 15 members until 1985, and the Lord started adding to it, have had several great pastors in past 20 years, but have an excellent one now in MITCHELL KECK, been there over 10 years and the church was torn down due to renovations of parking lot and built back with an extra 12 feet on chapel and stain glass windows, and blessed enough to be able to ad fellowship hall in 2010, Still under same belief that Jesus put forth , Same yesterday, today, and forever more. we believe what got grandma and grandpa saved and ready to meet the Lord still holds true today, IF JESUS don't change, why should we? Excellent choir and most of all a family atmosphere, after all the bible refers to us as brothers and sisters to Christ. Sunday morning we start at 10 am, sunday night at 6:30 pm, An old timey church, with about 60 or 70 members, remember , salvation is said to be worked out with fear and trembling from the preaching of a God called man, not from a fairy tail , the bible tells us not to be carried away by every wind and doctrine.
