A liturgical disgrace defined by the ear-bleeding choir that forced all of your attention away from the Sacrifice of the Mass with an electric-guitar led, maraca + drums “choir” that dances to their own music as they repeat a modern raise-your-hands stadium-Christian chorus 30 times. Still a valid celebration of the Mass, so there is that.

There’s a weird guy that drives a ford escape that sits at the end of the parking lot. I ran out of gas in the church parking lot. He said he had to get into church so he couldn’t help me but he never went into the church. That’s that a strange way for a Christian to act. Not a single person driving in even offered to help me. 😂 …

I worshipped at St. Stephen's 9am mass while on a weekend trip in Music City. In the beginning of mass, I learned that over 40 people will enter the Church and that's a testament to the parish. The people are friendly. I enjoyed coming here and hope to return.

Love the church! 24/7 adoration chapel is amazing to stop in at any time. Prayer garden is great for getting outside on nice days. Church library is full of amazing Catholic books and open throughout the week. RCIA has been a really great experience with people who really care and answer your toughest questions. Excited to try to visit more often, love that there are plenty of times to join mass on Sunday, and it's offered everyday. If you're looking to be fed spiritually St. Stephens has a lot to offer!

St Stephen is an amazing parish with a vast number of ministries, social events and fellowship opportunities! They also have a beautiful prayer garden and a playground for kids!

This was a great experience for us out of town visitors. The Mass was great, everyone was friendly, and we even got a special blessing for our wedding anniversary.

Vacationing in Nashville, we attended 11am Sunday Mass. We went early & joined in praying the Rosary before Mass. Clergy & congregation were pleasant & welcoming.

My normal church was closed this afternoon and I have a major surgical procedure tomorrow. I just wanted to get inside the house of the Lord and say a quick prayer. I’m very thankful that Saint Stephens has a small chapel that allows myself and others to do that 24/7. God bless for that!

I always love the midnight mass here at Christmas, it is very traditional here. The service is filled with rituals and beautiful imagary. The people here are very friendly and welcoming of new visitors, although I failed to make any lasting friendships. They used to have a fish fry on a regular basis, which I always enjoyed.

I’m Catholic, I asked the priest did he have time to talk after mass? He assured me he did. Once we began talking, he quickly became uninterested in my grief, or the recent loss of my family members. He recommended I get a lawyer. I informed him that I had a lawyer. I told him I wasn’t speaking to him for legal purposes. I told him I needed answers to my religious questions? He continuously looked at his watch, said he was late, and needed to be somewhere else. He got up in the middle of me crying, wished me luck and walked away. How dare you! Because of you I haven’t returned to church in over several months. I had to seek answers from someone outside of my religion. Next time don’t offer your time if you don’t have time. The priest was cold, and indifferent. I did not find the priest to be helpful at all.

I feel fortunate to be a member of this vibrant, caring, growing Catholic Christian community. We are well-served by both our ordained and lay leaders. There is a wide variety of ministries through which our members can serve and be served. It is a diverse, generous church which cares about its local and global communities. Above all, it is faithful to Christ.

I was truly being tormented by a evil spirit and was desperate for help...I drove 40 mins to this church for help yes they gave me holy water but it didn't help.. you have to be strong in the faith...they told me I needed to get a mental health check before they could help(which would take months)I already thought I was going crazy so did my family but "the sanctuary" (pentecostal) immediately made me feel sane and helped me! They fasted for me the preacher came on his 56th wedding anniversary to anoint my house! If you are being taunted by demons you are not crazy get to a pentecostal church immediately!!

I registered here years ago and had my son baptized. Worst experience ever. The Pastor Fr Kibby, very rude, especially to me and some guests. I understand, he’s known other people who come here bc they’ve been active to this church but I was a new member. I never set foot on this church again. He reminds of the borgias.

I’m not a parishioner here, but do on a rare occasion attend the 11a Mass. Every time I do it’s heartbreaking. As soon as Christ is received in the Most Blessed Sacrament hordes of people IMMEDIATELY evacuate the church. I’m usually in the Narthex with my young children so it’s quite painful to witness. Mass doesn’t end with Communion, please at least stay for the final blessing! I realize this problem is not exclusive to St. Stephen, but it is a problem nonetheless. Yes, St. Stephen has a vibrant Catholic community with lots of social activities to choose from, but don’t miss what’s important, the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.

In its Masses, I've seen various heretical practices that began in the wake of the Second Vatican Council and were later made licit by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops. Also, I confirm the observation of reviewer C W: too many people leave Mass before it officially ends. There are two vibrant communities at St. Stephen: a larger one that is heterodox and active with social justice issues, and a smaller one that is orthodox and trying to defend Catholic orthodoxy without being punished for it.

Came here to start RICA it was very nice they even had pizza they seem like a lovely church family I can’t wait to become a part of the Catholic Church !!! I’m excited!
