  My wife and I visited the church today for the first time today. No one greeted or even said hello. The sanctuary was a carbon copy of what I believe to be the norm in the western modern church. The sanctuary was dark, little lighting, smoky or foggy, light jazz playing in the background, cold, uninviting, large screens, and traditional praise and worship which was good. The pastor sat on a coach with his tablet in front and preached on identity and that it must be based on God to understand your purpose. Message didn't feel watered down or regurgitated. Used alot of scripture and several points from an author. Could this message be labeled as deductive instead of inductive? I am on the fence on this one. But it was obvious the pastor has a heart for people and for people to be delivered from bandage and sin. But it doesn't feel like his heart has manifested in the environmental atmosphere of the church. After the service we walked out. No one said hello or acknowledged our visit. We won't be coming back. On to the next one.

  Arrived and noticed that it was actually in the seventh day Adventist church building. Music that was amazing, very talented singers and musicians. Didn't care for the style of preaching Felt disrespectful, almost like coffee time, as the pastor sat at a little love seat and end table. Although the message was good, I stayed over to talk to the pastor and asked why didn't he close with something to the effect of inviting Jesus into your heart or to say get saved, etc. And the reply was to the effect he didn't want to turn it into a show or make a big deal then I replied ,What if today was that persons last day to hear the good news and repent and God led them to that service and although it was very good words preached though it would be a pastors responsibility to led them to the Lord. I'm not sure if it was just the day or if it's always like this. Seems like there are a lot of people going there but felt it wasn't for me and my family. And it's not my thing to write a long review typically but though I should.

  It was our first time at this church, and we were excited to go there after multiple recommendations. What really threw us off was the presence of an armed police officer scanning through the crowd before and after the service. Considering what's been happening in the current political climate, I can't help but wonder if the church is as welcoming towards ethnic looking people. The lack of diversity in the crowd just sort of reiterates this.

  I attended this church for the first time at Easter. Everyone was so welcoming and said hello with a smile. The chairs in the sanctuary were comfortable. The music was so good, the musicians and singers were really talented! I like how they put the words on a screen so you can sing along. I like how this church doesn't hound you for money. The sermon was excellent as well. It really kept my attention and left me wanting more! I can't wait to come back!

  Our family visited Rockpoint off and on for about three years, primarily coming to the amazing worship nights hosted. About 3 months ago we decided to pop by and caught the middle of the “David” study and haven’t left since. The way The Holy Spirit fills this space, the faces of those in leadership carry such authentic and humble nature, and the programs for our children with staff who know their names already & reach out to check on them is so inspiring. We have been at the same church for over a decade but it was outside of our direct community and while we always will call that place of worship home we are so overfilled with joy to be in our direct community partnering with our neighbors in worship and service. Thank you for bringing such a wonderful atmosphere for all kinds of kinds in Rockpoint .

  Excellent sermons & teaching. Music is also objectively very skillful and subjectively adds to the worship experience. Plenty of options for students and adults to get involved outside the auditorium in order to become part of the church community & deepen your faith. Only critique I could offer is entirely subjective. • be aware that music is often extremely loud, especially if you are sensitive to heavy bass frequencies. • the simplest work-around is to continue worship in the halls outside the auditorium. Monitors are available to continue viewing, and you’re standing during worship anyway 👍🏼 • • makes it easy for my various family members to exit when the music gets too heavy and reenter once the message starts.

  After almost three years here in Chattanooga, this Church has given me a place to call home. Come as you are is the best way to describe this atmosphere. Everyone is incredibly welcoming, and you can absolutely feel the movement of faith within the building. As we were leaving, we wanted to go right back!

  Powell Grisham is an awesome communicator and leader and the band rocks. It has very talented individuals that use their skills to lead us in worship. The Children's ministry is "better" than adult ministry according to my 8 year old. Overall this is a well led and well organized community, following God's will in our community and the world.

  RockPoint Church was amazing! They made me feel so loved, comfortable, respected and welcomed! This was primarily because no one was wearing a mask or gloves and we were served free popcorn and cinnamon sticks. It made it feel like things were finally back to normal and covid was over with. Exactly how every business needs to be treating their customers. I will definanitly reccomended RockPoint!

  I've always loved this church since i lived in Atl. but I'm not sure how I'll feel without watching Andy Stanley. May just have to drive to Buckhead Church again to keep following the speaker I like the most. The satellite church is what really made and started Rock Point so I'm not quite sure if I'll stay just yet. They're going a different direction with live speakers that I'm not sure I like.. instead of what made this church great and all of Northpoint Ministries a great experience. Andy Stanley! No more Andy, no more me most likely. Ill be open minded but it's probably gonna be a game changer for me.

  I really like the preaching here. I’ve only been twice and felt the sermons were very biblically sound. I am trying some other places. This one lacked diversity so want to see what else Chatt has to over. The pastor and his wife seem nice.

  In my opinion the best church in Chattanooga. Cares about their people and their community. The pastor gives a unique way of teaching, which leaves you thinking afterwards. Learned so much from him.

  This is my church and I.like the Praise and Worship band and singers because I like that style.of worship music and I.really like Pastor Mr. Justin teaching and I really like my small group called mixed group that discussed the life of Jesus and meets on Wednesday nights at the church so come and feel welcome and you will feel excepted.

  Lots of Churches as well as individuals sat they are for the community. This Church lives by what they say. I have worked with them multiple times and they are kind and loving. This is what community is about.
